Baby Know-it-All - Animals and ABC's [VHS]

I got this video in a lot of videos I purchased on e-bay and I am quite disappointed in it (I didn't keep it). I am sorry to have to say that this reminded me of a family doing a home video in their basement and then selling it. I found it very disjointed and very unprofessional. Here are some things I didn't care for:

~ They jump from an animal to an opposite to a star song to another animal (that's why I say "disjointed").
~ Some of the animal footage is not very attractive (a giraffes tongue, a way too up-close shot of a pigs face, etc).
~ When they show instruments they say flute and it's not even a flute.
~ There are mice in a maze and I don't know what the point of that is.
~ Some scenes are just a few seconds, like a strange hand puppet rolling a ball.
~ Between segments are weird blurry images that look like something in front of a fun house mirror...(look at it too long and you'll get a headache. I don't think that's a good thing for a baby).
~ A boy paints a mural on a wall. I think the wall is covered with huge paper, but it looks like he's painting just on the wall. When we watched this the first time my baby was 16 months old and I had just finished scolding her for having written on the cabinet with a pencil...so I'm not sure if this is a good scene to show her.
~ The animal sounds, from the kids and the narrator, are *awful*. For the chimp sound the narrator says, "eee-eee-eee". For the rooster a kid says, "coo-coo-coo" and the narrator replies, "Good job!" Huh??
~ Some of the singing is in a terrible monotone.
~ The audio is not very good and sometimes you hear what sounds like rustling in the background.
~ 3 puppets are upside down rubber boots on hands with eyes. I think the narrator does all 3 of the puppet voices (she does have a better narrating voice then the Baby Einstein narrator, I will have to admit).
~ The narrator asks what sounds the animals make and for frog she says, "What says the frog?" I thought that was kind of a strange way to word the question. To a kid, they might think she is saying that a frog says "what".

In my opinion, this video seems to be just of bunch of things thrown together and it's supposed to be educational ("Baby Know-It-All"). I am not a huge fan of Baby Brainy but their Animals video is much better then this. I'm not allowed here to give no stars but I would if I could. Please read my other reviews for children's videos.
