Great Song!, November 17, 2008
This review is from: Baby Love Whatever U (Audio CD)
"Baby Love" is a wonderful and cute song. It's easy to listen to and fall in love with.
I would give the CD a rating of 5 stars, but few people are going to listen to the instrumental songs more than once. In addition, the second song, "Whatever You Like," has an annoying beat. I know that it's somewhat popular on the radio, and the song is pretty good. It's just not great.
Based on "Baby Love" and her work with The Pussycat Dolls, I'm looking forward to listening to Her Name Is Nicole when it comes out. Nicole should be able to make an impact as a solo artist.

Nicole Makes Her First Mark Quite Fiercely!, July 31, 2011
This review is from: Baby Love Whatever U (Audio CD)
Nicole's first solo albums,
Her Name Is Nicole - Killer Love are creating a huge buzz but what makes the anticipation even more uncontrollably desirable is this single! Her entrance as a solo artist is anything but ordinary or dull. She comes on strong from her Pussycat name to a full of fire yet subtle and sexy sensation!!!
The title track "Baby Love" is a soft sensual sounding R&B pop style with romantic references of how a "true" love is *so* magical. The feeling of being in love is rampant and the moods are of being crazy for that soul-mate that can only feel that *special* space in the heart. "You make the sun come up... You are my Baby Love... You are my everything every every thing I can dream of..." At the end Will.I.Am does a remarkable job in reinforcing the meaning behind the song and creating a nice combination duo with Nicole as the vocals are quite different. Nicole sounds soft and sexy while Will.I.Am has the deeper sounds. Excellent song!
"Whatever U Like featuring T.I." is definitely off the chain in funk, R&B, faster energetic beats, heavier bass-lines, more varying vocals by Nicole, and marks of fiery tigerish yet sweet soft catty styles. You can touch but don't bite type feeling. It's got the catchy hooks, fabulous raps, and versatile beats that make it much more fun to hear. It's got the tantalizing flirtatious lyrics, soft and subtle references yet aggressive and strong vibes of wanting to get it on with that special someone. T.I. sparkles like fire crackers in the sky as his rhymes are totally thuggish and magnetically hypnotizing and sexy.
The Instrumental Versions of both "Baby Love" and "Whatever U Like" are the same time length but are without vocals. The sound of the music thus brings on a more *spotlight* on the bangs, bass-lines, drums, and thumps vs. the combo of both. The video for both is included in Enhanced CD form making this a smash of a single to enjoy diversely. The eagerness for the DVD release becomes vastly more intense once the viewing is seen! It has drama, rap, love, dancing, plus excellent vocals by Nicole and featured artist T.I.
This Japanese Edition includes the obi-strip, as well as the lyrics for both songs in Japanese and English. It comes housed in a regular sized jewel case.

I am sorry to see Nicole's talent go to waste!, June 28, 2010
This review is from: Baby Love Whatever U (Audio CD)
I loved her so much on Dancing With the Stars I had to buy one of her CD's. I am sorry that I did as was too naive about the language on this music. I would hope that she would find outlets for her incredible talent that do not include the trashy material that is on here. She is still a five star talent and five star person in my mind, but I will never listen to this again and I discourage anyone from listening to it.
