I'm thrilled I bought this tape. It's provided many hours of insite for me as a young, first time, single mother. I used the techniques given in the tape and it's provided a bonding that I didn't think was possible. I will watch it often and keep it for my future children. I've already loaned it out to another new mom who thought it was fantastic too.

This was actually a pretty good video. I bought this video after the baby massage class that I had signed up for was canceled (twice) and it gave me the same type of hands on feeling. I watched it alone the first time (I was folding clothes during my daughter's nap time)so that I could get an idea about the massage. It had taught me enough to give her a mini massage (which she LOVED)later that afternoon w/o the video. I gave her a more indept one the next day while watching the video and again, she LOVED it. I chuckled b/c it the client receiving the massage was very active and I appreciate the demonstrator using that type of child b/c it was very practical. He demonstrated that during massage we take cues from our babies. Yes there were repeated actions demonstrate @ different angles, but it gave you the opportunity to really see what was being done and how to do it. Some of the actions were also repeated b/c they soothed the baby that he was working on and provided good transitions to the next part of the massage. The demonstrator (voice-over) spoke calmy but was very audible. The calming nature of his explaination gave a calming effect to the massage session w/ my baby. I am happy with this video. I would actually give it 4.5 stars.

Although I bought this on DVD, I want to say how happy I am I bought this particular one!!! It's a healthy way to bond with my baby and she's so much happier since I've started massaging her. She sleeps much better and is now sleeping through the night when I give her a massage before bedtime. You can tell she looks forward to our time together. I will continue these sessions as she grows and matures as I feel it's a wonderful way to stay close to her. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I wish my mom had done this for me as a child.

I work with moms and dads who want to bond more with their baby. I start with a short meeting in the hospital and short session massaging the babys hands. I give them one of these tapes to take home (as a gift from a benefactor of the hospital) I do a follow up session at home a week or so later. It's amazing the results that takes place when parents massage their children. I've been doing this for several years now. I've seen the results - the kids are happier, have a better attitude and are better adjusted emotionally. I highly recommend you BUY THIS DVD OR VHS and start MASSAGING YOUR LITTLE ONE. It's never too late to start! You will reap what you sow.

As a traditional massage feature, it does not go through the detailed step by step approach. The child is indicated as being one year old. For those who wish to engage in a specific program of massage, perhaps for therapeutic purposes (as is on many baby massage tapes) this DVD doesn't do that. However, as a tape that shows one how to create a bond of touching and caring with your child and in a way that can be fun and enjoyable for both, this DVD does just that. There is perhaps too much repetition (little on the back, much on the legs) but it was not meant to be a total program DVD. Technically, the shadows from others in the room detract from the quality of the DVD, as they intrude on the massage table. As yes, it is done on a massage table, rather than a blanket on the floor. If you have had a grounding in massage techniques, you will probably not like this DVD. If you wish to discard some of the rituals of massage and connect with your child in a loving and caring way, you will probably like this DVD.

I bought this video before the baby is born. Now that he is 7 monthes old, I don't really follow exactly the video, just to conduct the massage with the basic technics.

We started massage from Day 1, and he has been a really good sleeper since Day 1. Always sleep through the night starting age Week 2, I massage him after the bath right before he goes to sleep. He is definitely healthy happy baby

This baby Massage DVD is the best yet. Even Daddy is glad to come home and help take care of our little one. No colic in this family. No stress either.
Well put together. And the price is right too!!!
