Book Description

December 1, 2005 Baby Be of Use
Many people are parents, and many parents are thirsty. Yet too many parents allow their infant sons and daughters to lie about idly: napping, drinking milk, and whatnot. Why not put them to work? Observe how tots enjoy the shapes and colors, all the while learning how to mix a variety of basic cocktails. Thanks, Baby!

4.0 out of 5 stars A laugh for the "cool parents" you know June 20, 2006
Format:Board book
As a non-kid person myself, I was delighted to find a baby gift that would both amuse my new-parent friends and represent my own antisentimental view of the little buggers. Yes, this is silly; yes, it's short--it's a board book, after all. But it's sturdy, the illustrations are charming, and you really can mix a drink using the pictures. Have fun with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tongue in cheek February 25, 2006
By Dahlia
Format:Board book
This "baby book" is meant to put a smile on mom's face, not meant to be taken so seriously and read to baby at story time. It is a great little gift for parents, especially those having their second or third child, when the initial stages of parenting are no longer so frightening and when they can really use a laugh.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not her best work September 3, 2008
Format:Board book|Amazon Verified Purchase
I *love*" Lisa Brown's other works so I bought this book sight unseen. It's not her best work. My recommendations (ranking #s) are: "Baby make me breakfast" (#1), "Baby fix my car" (#2) and "Baby do my banking" (#3). "Baby mix me a drink" is a distant fourth. Then again, it's still fun!

1.0 out of 5 stars Reason why they don't let you see a page before you buy it
Had really low expectations for this book as it was to be a gag gift for someone fun having a baby- and even with my low expectations I was shocked at the quality to this price. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring.
I thought it would have a cute story or rhyme inside, but it does not. I do not really recommend it only because there is not story to read to the little ones.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
This five page book isn't worth the cardboard it's printed on. It's neither amusing for an adult nor a child. We put it in the recycle bin shortly after receiving it. Read more

Drawn up to mimic itself as a baby book but the humor is all adult. This whole series is super creative, adorable, and will be the hit of the shower! Read more
