This "review" is for the old formula, in which case my sensitive skin didn't fancy something in it (lavender I believe). The new sunscreen doesn't have this.
As a note, I'm not very active during peak sun-hours (10-4p) in terms of water sports, biking etc. I tend to do those in off hours and just wear sunscreen for daily errands. However, I plan on becoming more active outside and as a fair-skinned person it's VERY important to me to be protected.
That said, I can't help but wonder why there is all of the discrepancies in how effective sunscreens are for people. I have literally checked out every natural (and un-natural) one on the market and read just as many reviews. Regardless of the brand you invariably see it work great for some and not for others.
Aside from the usual complaints about natural sunscreen being too thick, white, and greasy (which I think is to be expected and I prefer being able to see it), there are comments 'you didn't apply enough' or 'did so incorrectly'. I do think this is the case in many instances, but not necessarily at the fault of the consumer. Companies often don't tell folks how to properly apply in the instructions which obviously varies from product to product. And, there are a few other things to take into consideration;
#1 Physical sunscreen is just that-a physical barrier between your skin and the environment.Read more ›

Great sunscreen for littles! However, I didn't expect it to have a scent but I wasn't expecting it to have such an off putting smell. Goes on thick but runs in well. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Casey M.
