This book is beautiful- the photography is spectacular, the words simple and sweet. And the nursing babies at the end are wonderful. My two-year-old and I could not put this book down.

This is a beautiful, fun, wonderful book. And I love love love that the baby is shown breastfeeding instead of bottle feeding. I've found that there are not so many images of breastfeeding babies in mainstream books. Yay!

This book makes me tear up every time I read it. I want to memorize it & maybe quote it at a baby shower I'm going to throw. Absolutely precious. I just wish she'd write more books!

My fourteen-month-old asks for this book on a daily basis, often many times per day. He loves the pictures of babies, and since he also loves dogs this is a win-win. The photos are lovely and the cadence of the picture captions, comparing human babies to animal babies, is wonderful. I especially love the photos of the human baby and the puppy both nursing, since my baby does not associate milk with a bottle. Or a cow, for that matter.
I am going to a book shower for a new baby soon and this will be my contribution!
