On the front cover you see a cat. There are absolutely no cats or kitten pictures inside the book. This was a bit misleading. The other pictures are good-a guinea pig, 2 dogs, a parakeet, a bunny but with a cat on the front cover I assumed there should be a cat inside. Be aware that there is not.

Hurray! Finally a non-flap, non-touchy-feely book that puts a big smile on my baby's face. Each page contains a life-size color photo of a baby and his/her pet. We both love this book so much that I'm going to buy a couple more in the series.

My little guy has loved this book for months. Large photos of babies interacting with their pets make it interesting for us to look at again and again. Simple one or two word captions allow for discussions (and for animal noises to be made) without feeling like you are interrupting a story.

I bought this because my toddler loves looking at other children. I was really disappointed with it based on the positive reviews it received. The photos were mostly O.K., but one was very blurry. Also, the photos lacked creativity, forethought and cuteness. It was as if the photographer just stuck a kid and a pet together for a random shot. Anyone could have taken these photos, even me! I could swear one toddler is in two of the photos --- were there not enough baby models available? If your child is intrigued with other children, especially babies, I would recommend the books by Anne Geddes. Her photographs are beautifully done and enjoyable for both parent and child.

My 9 month old loves looking at babies and annimals. She gives this book slobbery wet kisses everytime we read it.

Pictures are great to stimulate a discussion with her on the animals shown, what feelings they stimulates. Great for spending time together and chatting.

Bought this book for grandson and he loves it! Now passed on to his brother.
