I love this stroller,

This review is from: Baby Planet Endangered Species Stroller Lemur Leaf Frog (Baby Product)
I am very happy with the Baby Planet Lemur frog stroller! The full recline came in very handy while at an outdoor festival with no regular bathrooms for diaper changes, the wheels roll really well and the canopy is the best available. It provides a lot of shade when open and if the straps are unhooked, it will completly cover the child. I looked at so many other strollers (mac, chico, etc) and am so happy I went with Baby Planet instead. The parent cup holder stays on, unlike the cup holder on my other stroller and it folds up very compact. My daughter seems to be comfortable. The seats are really nicely padded and it has an adjustable leg rest. The big basket is also a plus. Unlike most light weight strollers that have a very tiny basket (if any) and when it is in use, the netting doesn't rub on the wheels. The only things I was disappointed about is that the description on many online retail sites says that there is a child cup holder and adjustable handles, which is not true. The solo sport delux (which is not available in the endangered species line) has the child cup holder and extendable handles. That was a big selling point for me, but I would not return this stroller now that I found out it doesn't have then. We absolutly LOVE this stroller and recommend it to all of our friends.

This review is from: Baby Planet Endangered Species Stroller Snow Leopard (Baby Product)
I did a lot of research before deciding on this stroller. Everyone compares it to the MacLaren, but I really think that the MacLaren looks cheap next to Baby Planet. The seat looks more comfortable, and the leg extension is a far more durable design. I had some reservations about buying a stroller without testing it, but this has proven to be a well made product. It's lightweight and handles well. If you've read a lot of reviews, you know about the frame going through the storage basket. I haven't found this to be a problem. My one complaint is specifically with the Snow Leopard canopy: it's a soft plush fabric, almost like brushed velour. I'm not sure how it will hold up when wet, and on a personal note, it's a little over the top for me. If I had seen it in person, I probably would have chosen a different Baby Planet stroller. However, I don't feel that it's so horrible that I needed to return it, and I'm certainly not embarrassed by it. On a positive note, the canopy can close completely over the passenger, making a little tent. Overall, It gets high marks. Oh, and if you're worried that it doesn't have a tray or child cup holder, go to One Step Ahead and order the universal stroller tray.

Fantastic Stroller with Everything I Want,
This review is from: Baby Planet Endangered Species Stroller Monarch Butterfly (Baby Product)
My husband and I looked at a million strollers at Babies-R-Us and none of them had all the features we wanted. We wanted a stroller that was high quality (like a Maclaren), stylish, light-weight, with decent storage, and a CUP HOLDER. None of the lightweight strollers we looked at seemed to have a decent cup holder. Just because I don't want a mammoth stroller doesn't mean I don't like to have a soda or latte while out and about.
Anyway, you get all of these features with the Monarch stroller. The stroller is sturdy, light-weight, was easy to put together, fits nicely in our compact car, is easy to open and close. Plus, it has a cute fabric butterfly that is perched on top of the canopy (you can't see it in the photo here). It made me smile when I opened the box! The stroller comes with one cup holder, but you can get another from Baby Planet for $1.50 on the phone if you want two. The cup holder is also made from very sturdy plastic. There IS a big metal X at the bottom that prevents putting very large items in the bottom basket, and ours did somehow get dinged by something heavy we must have put on top of the stroller, but this hasn't caused problems for us. We have a sherpani diaper bag and it fits in from the back, and then I can shove smaller things in from the front and sides (the basket is accessible from all sides). I don't find that I use this feature a lot though. The diaper bag is usually all I have down there. The stroller has a pouch for keys, cell phone, etc. behind the canopy and my purse hangs from the handlebars without causing the stroller to tip (even without my daughter in the stroller). The wheels are pretty good on the surfaces we've used it on--at the mall, on the street, sidewalks, and also on paths at the park, which can be rougher. I expect the stroller to hold up over the years--the fabric is very heavy-duty, but soft (like the kind you'd find in a car), and the metal frame construction is sturdy. My daughter seems to enjoy being in the stroller and she likes the bright colors and contrast. The stroller is comfortable to push. I can manipulate it easily with one hand (with my daughter in it) when holding other things with my other hand. I would recommend the stroller to friends without hesitation. Not only because it is a fantastic stroller, but because it is also priced very reasonably. I would expect to pay a lot more for a stroller of this quality. It is much nicer than similar Peg Peregos and Maclarens we saw at Babies-R-Us and it cost less.

This review is from: Baby Planet Endangered Species Stroller (Baby Product)
When my son outgrew the newborn/infant travel system, we got one of these strollers (the orange butterfly version). My son loves it, which is why this product gets two stars instead of one. He was always a little fussy in the other stroller, but in this one he settles down peaceably and rarely makes a fuss.
The super-adjustable seat angle setting is about the only good part of using this stroller. From the brakes that feel like they're set when they aren't to the 'easy removal instructions' for the seat pad that include 10 steps, all poorly described, some accompanied by inscrutable black-and-white pictures, and two of which direct the reader to another section entirely to complete other multi-step procedures, this stroller is a headache. It has wonderfully ergonomic handles that make it nearly impossible to push one-handed. Even pushing two-handed, there's something awkward about it that leaves my arms tired after even a relatively short trip to the supermarket. The tires are nearly bald after just a few months of use (with a child under 1 year old), and every few times i take him out of the harness, i find little black plastic bits that seem to be coming from something important, though i can't find the source. The weak plastic clips holding the canopy to the frame pop off every few times i extend or collapse the canopy, and the basket under the seat already has a hole in it even though i only ever throw my sweater or canvas shopping bags down there. All in all, this was a fantastic waste of money.

I purchased this stroller from Amazon before my son was born and he's now 16 months. I was looking for something light weight with good wheels. I researched online for months before finally deciding on this stroller...
pros: - reclines almost flat - not too heavy - looks nice without being too flashy cons: - after the first couple of months, no longer steers well - you really feel like you're 'pushing' the stroller, doesn't glide like some strollers - string seat recline thinggie is a pain with child in stroller - too narrow, child with coat on looks squished - feel like it's a little heavy for a stroller with no child or parent tray and small size Honestly I don't know why it's so hard to find a good quality stroller that's light and functional. I purchased this stroller for $240, but would have paid more if I could find what I wanted. Stroller manufacturers need to hire moms with more then one kid to design their strollers!

This review is from: Baby Planet Endangered Species Stroller (Baby Product)
If your looking for a stroller for short trips this would be great, but i walk my kids to school, and about two blocks is all i had to give this stroller to say to myself that im going to return it.its cute and has alot of nice things going on,but even for a short person(5'2) i had trouble running my legs into the wheels and the way the have the handle bars makes you really have to stretch, which can be painful going up hills.hope this helps.

Think twice before buying this stroller. Baby Planet cannot be reached by email or phone for warranty. The wheel just fell off when strolling baby!!!!!

This review is from: Baby Planet Endangered Species Stroller Lemur Leaf Frog (Baby Product)
I received my lemur stroller today and took it for a spin with both of my boys. My preemie son, who now weighs 8 bs, was super comfortable in this stroller, unlike his infant car seat & Snap-n-go. My two year old, who weighs 31 lbs however...whew! It was truly a workout when I pushed him and my diaper bag along with it. However, the stroller maneuvers lovely. The design of the stroller turned so many heads, even those who had Bugaboos with them! I researched A LOT of strollers and am very happy with the recline on this stroller, the easy of opening and closing the stroller, the sun shade/canopy is superb covering both of my boys, the basket, while not big, was adequately sized for an umbrella stroller. While I wouldn't say this stroller is light at 17 lbs, it's only 3lbs heavier than the Mac Techno, yet at least $100 cheaper in cost. I'd highly recommend this stroller to a first time parent and wish I had gotten it sooner so I could've used it with my toddler when he was younger.

We got the stroller in anticipation for Disney World and also just having enough of our infant stroller. I searched all the comments on all the various strollers on Amazon trying to figure out what I really wanted. It came down to compact (to keep stashed in my sedan trunk, along with 2 large suitcases, and easy to put through airport security x-ray), light weight (for airport travel), upright and reclining seating (many are slightly reclined when "upright"), large accessible basket (although it does have a cross bar, it is very functional), large canopy (rained the whole time at WDW, would recommend the rain shield for front coverage, but also great for sun coverage), comfortable handles, well balanced (we could hang a backpack on the handlebars and it didn't tip over even when no one was riding in it), and the KIDS LOVE IT! My 4 year old and 1 year old fought over who got to ride in it, and they never complained while in it. This was one of the best child equipment purchases I have made. I will be getting the silicone spray for the wheels though, but nothing that is a showstopper. It was also, easily identifiable in the sea of strollers at WDW.

love the stroller. the design is amazing and everyone says that the "X" is in the way for the basket. It is, but the MaClaren's basket is above the X, so this way makes the basket smaller. The baby Planet basket is bigger cause they put it below the X...it has to be there in order to fold up the stoller compact. I love this design and were all happy with it.
