Awesome bag for Dad or Mom,

We have had this bag for over 3 years. It is used on almost a daily basis by one of us. We are now using it for both our 3 year old and a newborn. It is big enough to carry items for both, but it is still easy to transport as it is a backpack. One of the great things is that it is not too girly so dad has no problems carrying it.
We love the built in cooler feature - our only minor complaint is after 3 years of almost daily use the inner silver lining on the cooler is starting to peel.

Very disappointing!,
I purchased this backpack b/c we have a 16 month old and a newborn. We used the packpack for 2 months and the mesh is pulling apart, I've mended it several times! It is just not holding up well at all. Also, it doesn't hold nearly what I expected. The only good feature is the insulated food compartment.

OK Design, Terrible Quality,

The design of the bag seems adequate. There are plenty of pockets and compartments including the semi-insulated one on the bottom. I am appalled at the low quality of materials. The thread looks like cheap heavy duty polyester thread. Cheap thread makes it fall apart much faster. I would not expect more than 3-6 months use (yes, I am sure it is designed that way), based on my experience with other backpacks. I would be terribly afraid of washing it. What good is baby stuff you can't wash?!? The shoulder straps have terribly inferior padding. The waist strap is not padded.
Overall, very disappointing for the price point. It's going back.

I had a Baby Innovations backpack bag that had lots of pockets, but with a toddler and another one on the way I needed something bigger. Looked at all the reviews for dadGear and the Baby Sherpa. Despite no insulation, I ordered the DadGear. I was very disappointed. I knew going in there was no insulation, but there weren't enough compartments to store things, the inside is just one big hole, and the changing pad could only be for a little baby it is so small. I ended up ordering the Baby Sherpa and comparing them side by side. I returned the DadGear and KEPT the Sherpa. Honestly, there is plenty of storage for both children's diapers, an extra outfit, and all the odds and ends you need for kids-with some room left over! The compartment at bottom holds lots of snacks and extra water and i haven't had problems with it falling over. It is big, but it fits in the stroller bottom just fine and is comfortable when worn. Very glad that I decided to give it a try.

Caveat: I didn't use this bag. Returned it as soon as I received it just by looking at the capacity.
The idea is great, but it certainly didn't have enough space. The main compartment is too deep and it seemed like the bag would be way too bulgy once you put all the stuff in. I think the bag could've been a bit wider and thicker to accommodate. Twin+ moms, this is just not big enough for everything you need, unless you are just going out for a few hours.

Too heavy, but has lots of compartments,

It looks like a lot of thought went into this bag. I used it recently on a vacation. It holds a lot of stuff in a lot of places. The bag itself is made very well with padded shoulder straps. The problem is that even when the bag is empty it is heavy. It was kept in the stroller at all times -- too heavy to carry. It is a little too bulky, but has removable compartments on both sides. It kept getting stuck when trying to take it out of the bottom of the stroller to get something out. At one point the strap in the front with the bungee corded section was stuck and broke. Overall, a very functional bag, but too bulky and too heavy.
