When Baby Sitting clients The Pikes win a cruise and Holiday they invite Stacey and Mary-Anne along as 'Mothers Helpers' as they do at Sea City. Then Kristy Step-Dad Watson orginizes a trip for Kristy and the family AND invites Claudia and Dawn along as guests. Well of course they have lots of adventures. Dawn falls for a boy called Parker, Kristy finds her Nannie a Boy Friend, Mary-Anne meets a Little Liar, Claudia meets a cute guy called Timothy and Stacey makes friends with a boy called Marc who is suffering a heart disease. AND Byron Pike finds treasure and Karen Brewer gets a MANICURE! They have a ton of fun in Disney World especially when Karen meets a 'hitchhiking' Ghost. And they still have time for BABY SITTING! But can they think of a gift to thank the Pikes and Brewers? Of course they can.... their the Baby Sitters Club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is about the BSC when the Pike family wins a trip to go on a cruise around the Bahamas and a few days in Disney land. Kristy's Step father{watson} finds out Kristy hasn't been on a hoilday out of the connecticut so since he is a millionaire he did some quick planning so he could take Kristy and her family and the rest of the BSC as well and this book is about the adventres they have when they are on hoilday.

Okay, I may be one of the few people here that read these books when they first came out. I was 12 when the series started, and they were SOOO popular.

I thought this, the first Super Special was by far the best one. I wanted to go on a cruise SO BAD after reading it, and when I finally DID go on a cruise a few years ago, I still remembered this book.

I loved the parts about Disney World, even though I've never been there I've been to Disneyland a million times, and loved how Ann Martin captured the 'feel' of Disneyland.

I'm sure that these books are dated by todays standards (kids are so much OLDER now than they were when I was a kid), but I still love these books, and pick them up and read them when I need a break from the stress and worry of being an 'old' adult. :-)

A Kid's Review
I liked it. I liked the way Kristy found a "boyfriend" for her grandmother. I think Claudia's mystery adimirer was very nice. Mary Anne was something else when she told off Alex. Stacey made a new friend. I think Dawn and Kristy's fight was really silly, you shouldn't fight with someone just because she's messy. I'm probaly like Mallory-I want to know what's going on. Karen's stories are so cute, espally when she gets the manicure. Bryon wasn't in any other books. How weird. Only one question: This book was published after Stacey moved to New York, and yet this book focoses on the fact that the club has five members. Oh, well.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great super special!, March 31, 2000

This review is from: Baby-Sitters on Board! (Baby-Sitters Club Super Special, No. 1) (Paperback)
This was a really great super special, considering this was the first one. A great job you're doing, Ms. Martin, and keep up the good work!

Kristy, Mary Anne, Claudia, Stacey, and Dawn are the luckiest baby-sitters in the world. This summer they're going on the greatest trip ever: a plane ride to Florida, a boat trip around the Bahamas, and then three days of fun--in Disney World!

Of course they have a million adventures. Claudia gets notes from a mysterious "Secret Admirer." Kristy, Mary Anne, and Stacey make some unusual new friends. Dawn has her first real romance. And they still have time for what they like best of all--baby-sitting!

this must be one of the best books i ever read. The Baby-sitters club has the best time the might not be doing everything they can together but it still is fun. Claudia gets a boyfriend, Kristy meets a unuasaly friend. The the rest of the BSC meets friends.Everyone gets to do just want they want even if some thing get them into a little trouble. Like take Stacey she got to go shoping whenever she wanted when she was on the ship.Claud spends her time shopping and trying to figuer out who is inlove with her. She does not know it but she is spending a lot of time with the perso who loves her. And ofcoures even the BSC has fun in disney world. i hope you like this book as much as i do!

The Babysitter's Club is off on an vacation they'll never forget. From their cruise through the Bahamas, to their stay at Disney World, adventures run wild. Will Claudia's secret admirer reveal himself? Will Kristy make a pest of herself the whole time? The first of many great super specials about the Baby Sitter's Club
