These books are about seven girls that have started a baby-sitting club/business. It tells about their lives in baby-sitting, school, and home. These books are fun, interesting, and get you ready for basic situations as a young teenager. They have situations with boys, business, and home. I've read almost all of the series and I've been reading the series so long that I fell like I really know the whole gang. There is so much detail in these books and that really makes you feel like you're in their world. So go Ann M. Martin! And YOU SHOULD BUY THESE BOOKS TODAY!

I began reading these books when I was in 5th grade and remember continuing to read them through Jr. High School. Now, I am 24 years old, pregnant with my first baby (a girl) and have pulled out those books to dust off and pass onto my daughter. These books are light-hearted, fun and still teach a good lesson about friendship, handling jobs, money, etc. I think these are fabulous books and recommend them to all!

The series are based around a group of friends who love babysitting and kids. Each character has a totally different personality, so every reader can relate to at least one of them. Each book deals with a different part of growing up. Boyfriends and best friends, moving away, school, family troubles -- it's all there. After reading a Babysitters book, I am left with a warm feeling inside. I feel as if I know each person - organized Kristy, shy Mary Anne, artistic Claudia, sophisticated Stacey, indivisualistic Dawn, down to earth Mallory, Talented Jessi and sporty Abby. Well done to Ann M Martin, the author. She has created a series of books that al pre-teen girls should read. I think they are absolutely superbly fantabulous!!

Wow! These books are some of the best BSC books around. Because I live in the UK I and other fellow Bsc readers cannot get are hands of some of the more recent ones but the frst books are always the best and this is no exception. And if you like these books you will love the Friends Forever and the CA diaries series. Check it out!

My mother wanted to make sure I could read before I started school, in hopes that I would achive a better education. I was reading picture books when I was 2-3 and began reading BSC books when I turned 4. Now I am 13, and in my free time the only place I'd want to be is reading. I love Kristy because of her great ideas, Mary Anne for her patience, Claudia and Mallory for their tallents in art and writing, Dawn for her individual character, Jessi for her devoted passion to ballet, Stacey for her maturity in caring for her diabetes,Logan for not letting the boys push him around, Shannon for her brain, and Abby for coping with her fathers death. I can relate to these girls in so many different ways, I feel as if I belong to the club!!!!!! I live in Australia, so I don't get the books as soon as they come out, but when they do, you can be sure I've got them. I have over 150...and nothing's gonna stop me from getting the rest

I loved the babysitters club and i own every single one. It is creative and fun to read. The baby sitters club are good books for girls 3rd grade and up.

I really love all of the babysitters books but I have not read them all. (Even though I really want to) It is a shame because seeing as I live in Great Britian I can't get many. I have over 90 BSC books (Including specials and mysteries) my fav character is Stacey and I think Ann.M is doing a fab job!

I ordered these for my 10 year old niece and she loves them! I grew up reading these and wanted to pass something along to her!

When I was younger, I loved these stories. They're cute little stories about 12 year olds who start a club to Babysit. They meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in Claudia's bedroom. You get to read about the main character of the book's big trouble in the book and you get to read about any other character who gets passed the notebook. These are definitely great books for kids 8 and up.

I LOVE BSC BOOKS!!!! I have read everysingle one. I get all my books from Amazon. I even have The Complete Guide to THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB. That book gives all the information you need to know about the Bsc. I even have every Bsc Doll. I reccomend any of Ann M. Martin's Books. I just hope she doesn't stop making them. The new covers are really neat I have all the Bsc Books and a couple of Karens. I am so glad Ann M. Martin can wright so fast. If Ann M.Martin Reads this E-mail Me Please!!
