I absolutely loved this very well written novel! I think Mc Loughlin is an amazing CANADIAN author! I read the entire book in one afternoon. The storyline caught my interest right from the start and I really enjoyed "getting to know" the characters. I also think the book offers a good perspective on some rather controversial issues. I would definitely recommend this great book!

Knowing the author personally, I was looking forward to purchasing and reading her first book. I wasn't disappointed. I think the author spun a wonderful tale of life, love, loss, and finding the strength do carry on. I'm looking forward to the next story from this author. :)

Life is never fair - and never let anyone tell you otherwise. "Baby Steps" is Lynda Blake's story of the troubles of being the single mother of a teenage son - an adventure in itself - and trying to take care of her own life. She stumbles upon the possibility of happiness, but must choose between it and the safety of her own son. She tries to choose between a rock and a hard place, making "Baby Steps" highly recommended to Chick Lit fiction collections, and community libraries containing them.
