Best book for babies!,
By
This review is from: Baby Talk (Look Baby Books) (Board book)
My eight month old has loved this book since he received it as a gift when he was 2 months old. He now pulls it off the book shelf and looks through it or brings it to me so I can read it to him. He loves to look at all of the adorable baby faces and the simple text is full of words he knows and is short enough that it keeps his attention. He can hear this book over and over again!

Baby Talk,

Perhaps the worst baby book ever thrown together. It seems the author decided to release a book for no purpose other than to release one. Sorry, I must give the plot away. On the first page the word "Hi" has a corresponding photo of a child. I say corresponding only in the sense that the picture is opposite the page of the word. The photo does not match up with the word. That's what's surprising, NONE of the photos of the babies/toddlers expressions have any connection whatsoever with correspoding word. Sorry, I'll go ahaead and give the rest of the plot away. The other words without any connection to the photos are: No, Mine, Cheese, and Okay. Seriously, I think the author should have at least spent 2 extra minutes to find baby photos that were similiar to the words or changed the words to match the photos. Oh, by the way, my child looked at page one, grabbed the book and tossed it! So does this count as 2 reviews?

Sturdy, colorful, fun, easy-to-read books just right for reading to babies under 3. This is a fun book, and the photos really grab baby's attention. My granddaughter loves all of the books in this series.

My boys love this book,
This review is from: Baby Talk (Look Baby Books) (Board book)
My boys love this book--babies love to look at babies and even as toddlers now they still love this book. As babies the picture of a single baby held their attention. As they got older they would imitate the facial expression or motion of the baby. Now they tell me what each baby is saying. In fact, on of my twin's first words came directly from this book!
