Baby Time Series: Sleep Time

We bought several different CD's, baby/classical/nature/new age, trying to find one that really put our daughter in a receptive mood for sleep and this is the one! We have traveled with the CD and it was probably the most important 'comfort' item we brought. At the time Katie was sleeping with us we found that it worked on frayed adult nerves too. We have moved Katie successfully into her own bed, (she was able to put herself back to sleep and would be "down" for 8-12 hrs from 4 months on) but the CD stayed in our bedroom. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a nice way to start teaching a baby to go to sleep on her own and once that is done--you can help yourself wind down.

I use this CD every day in my kindergarten classroom for our Rest Time....it is so soothing, the kids can't help but relax and fall asleep quickly! Also, I love that the "music" doesn't have melodies and rhythms to sing along with (like many nursery rhyme CD's or classical music compilations for children).
