Great combination of books - I got them for my daughters, one who is pregnant and one with a 6 month old. Well written with easy to read language. Good for husband/father to read, also! Answers simple questions (when do teeth start coming in, and which ones first?), to more problematic ones (she is still throwing up, what should I do?). these are used like the bible in my local moms club it seems - just finished baby411, and now into toddler411 - but pages 105-128 were repeated at the expense of pages 129-152 - check your book - AMazon replaced it for me even though I ordered the set 4 months ago since I only noticed the defect now - I also contacted the author when Amazon didn't want to exchange it - they were also willing to send out a new copy THAT DAY! Denise Fields rules! also try her baby bargains book before you buy anything for your child! you will save money!

This is the only book you need! Baby bargains got me through the baby registry, then baby 411 was the only book I needed during the first year. It's laid back but factual and addresses everything you can imagine. I can't wait to start toddler 411.

I hdad been given "Baby Bargains" by the same author, right after i found out i was pregnant and i LIVED by it! like a baby bible for a newly pregnant soon-to-be mommy! I based my whole registry off it, word of mouth and online reviews. so when i saw this i HAD to have it! I got it in the mail a week ago and cant believe i got the set for about $11.00! crazy! it was teh 3rd edition (and i believe there's now a 4th) but same info for the most part. GREAT DEAL! GOD SEND OF A BOOK! love this author!

These books are fabulous! I am a first time mom and find myself going to Baby 411 over and over again! It is helpful, thorough information with multiple view points, based on research. As a nurse and first time mom I wanted advice based on research but don't have time to search endless journals on each subject. The various chapters make it easy to find what you are looking for, I like that they give such relevant information from old wives tales to red flags on when to call your doctor...fist timers check out page 247 the 3 rules of cry management...very very helpful when you are first getting to know your little one!

This book answers just about everything new parents will ask. Very user-friendly - does not confuse you with medical jargon. A pleasure to read!

Baby 411 is my favorite baby book. It's so practical, realistic, and funny. I give it as a gift to all my pregnant friends. Now I'm starting on Toddler 411!

Yes, you guessed it! I bought this for my neice's new baby! She uses it quite often and has asked where I got it for her friend! Wonerful gift idea for the baby shower in your life! :)
