Baby Trend Silverado Sit N' Stand Stroller

I purchased a Baby Trend Sit n Stand last week. Already there are features that were immediately annoying. For one, the seat for the older child does not move. It doesn't slide forward like some other brands to allow you to get to the basket underneath. Secondly, the arm rests for the child who is standing or sitting are not cushioned, nor are they at least round for easy holding or comfort. The parent tray was the best selling point along with the price. But the parent tray is shallow. The drink holders are shallow and the compartment and there is no reason for this to be made so cheaply, there is plenty of space to have made it deeper. I can't even fit my keys in it! doh.

My wife and I were in a pinch. We were about to leave for California to visit family and needed something smaller than our wide 2 child jogging stroller. We didn't want a hugh tandem deal, as our son is getting older and resists the conventional stroller. We were concerned about having something that we could easily push around the airport and quickly break down when we were ready to board the plane.
This worked very well for that purpose. It is fun for my son to have a little more freedom and the baby does pretty well up front. I do wish the sun visor was a little larger.
It's not the lightest stroller out there, but it is very sturdy. I agree with the other reviewer who complained about the seat not sliding forward or flipping up. For those times where the back seat was not occupied it was great to have a place to carry a diaper bag and backpack.
It provides decent utility at a decent price. It's not about trendiness or fashion with this one.

I love this stroller - only thing is you can't really steer with one hand but that's probably to be expected with a double stroller. I love that it folds down as much as it does (almost as small as my single stroll) there are times I have extra kids at my house and we all want to go for a walk and I've fit 4 kids on this thing!!(one in the front -- two on the seat facing opposite ways -- and one standing) they get a little crowded but we were able to get out of the house! three kids would still be comfortable though! I also love that you can hook the baby carseat carrier on the front - makes an easy transition from car to stroller!!!

Gave as a gift to our daughter. She says she loves it. Makes going to the mall with the girls a breeze (well, almost). I'm sure she would highly recommend it to all.

This product is great for the price and for allowing your toddler to be a big kid riding on the back, having more freedom and clicking your new baby or younger child in the front seat. But...it is horrible to push and control! The handle bar should definitely be wider so you could control it better because it is kind of long and awkward.

I have only used this a few times but it works really well. The basket isn't so accessible but I really like the stroller. Downside-takes up a lot of trunk space and I have to remove the shade, foot tray and lap tray to put it in my trunk but all of these things are easy on and off.

Before I got this I read and re-read tons of reviews and comparisons of the Baby Trend and the Joovy. I decided to get this one for a couple of reasons: The price - it is a whole lot cheaper; the cup holders - call me crazy but that is something I just find very convenient, especially when you already have your hands full with two little ones; the bench - I didn't like the idea,that it moves around as it does with the Joovy. I understand it is for accessing the basket, that is why this one has snaps so you can easily reach the basket, even if your kids are both sitting down; the design - I know most people prefer the look of the joovy, I don't...and last but not least my Graco snug ride car seat hooks perfectly to the front seat, with the Joovy it just sits on the seat and you have to secure it with a strap - this one comes with a strap to secure it, PLUS it hooks to the stroller as it would on a travel system.
I have been using this for 2 months now and I must say it is awesome...I have a 2 month old and a two year old. My two year old loves to ride on her "big girl seat" (so do her friends) and the freedom that comes with it. I love the fact, that I have both girls safe and secure on one stroller. It fits easily in my Honda Accord and it is not too heavy for me - I am not the strongest woman out there. It makes life with two little ones so much easier...and that deserves five stars in my book any day!

after 2 years, it's still in good condition, kids like it. The only problem is who will be sit in the back? It's me! No it's me! :o)
