Don't let the negative reviews steer you away from this! I always read a million reviews before I buy something and have to admit I was terrified of this stroller because of all of the crappy reviews so I went out to a chain store to test it out before buying. I ended up buying it there because the stroller guy spent so much time with me.

I originally bought this because I shelled out for the Maclaren XT so I could avoid having a super bulky stroller in the house, well my kid in infancy HATED that stroller. He was pretty good in his car seat so I needed something that would get us through a few months until I could transition him to the Maclaren. You have to be realistic about why you are buying this, will this be your go to permanent stroller? Of course not! Will this thing get you to the mall, the grocery store and around your neighborhood? Of course!

Yes, as others have stated your car seat does not "click" or "snap" into place. Once the stroller frame is unfolded you place your car seat onto the plastic body frame of the stroller. The overhang of your car seat rests on top of the plastic frame. There is then 2 adjustable straps that you pull so that you have more support along the bottom of your car seat. Once that has been adjusted your car seat is secured by attaching an adjustable buckle through the car seat belt slots on the top of your car seat. Would I then take this stroller off roading safely, no. Will it be fine if I am aware to go over bumps in the street safely, yes.

There are two cup holders up top which work great, the small box area in between that is large enough to hold a set of house keys but not much else.

This stroller gets a bad rap but if you only need this as a temporary solution until you can get your infant into a nicer permanent stroller then don't be afraid. If you have enough common sense to be careful in this stroller then don't hesitate to get it.

Bought this stroller thinking our BabyTrend infant car seat would "snap" into this stroller frame & make our life easier as we fly out for the holidays. WRONG. When the stroller arrived it was apparent that there is no SNAPping our infant car seat into this but rather strapping the car seat to the stroller.
Basically, the stroller holds the car seat on the stroller pedestal and a strap or small belt then fits through the seat belt grooves on the top of the car seat. When we strapped the seat on, it was loose and the process was not as efficient as we had hoped. We wanted to return this to seller but unfortunately this was not an Amazon Prime item so return shipping is not covered & the shipping cost is almost as expensive as the stroller ($50+). You live & learn. Maybe you can learn from this review.

I bought this because I thought I could use it with my Britax B-Safe. You can use it with that car seat but you have to use a screw driver and remove the side pieces. The problem is I also have BOB stroller that it attaches to and you need the side pieces to attach it to a BOB.

This product came quickly, was sturdy and easy to put together, but it did not fit my infant carrier. We have a Graco Click Connect 35 and it did not click onto the stroller. It would fit with the straps, but was not steady enough for me to trust that if it was to be knocked over the baby would be safe.

I use this to carry my baby in his car seat when he was a newborn when I was still trying to decide which stroller to buy. It's an ok stroller to push around in the mall or any flat surfaces. Basically, the only thing holding the car seat in the stroller is the snap belt. It may be a bit dangerous if you are pushing this on the street or outdoors. I was always worried that the car seat might fall out from the stroller! I guess this is a good option if you are just hopping in and out of grocery stores.

Unlike to prior version of the Snap-n-Go, the car seat cannot actually snap into the stroller frame. It sits on the frame and you have to use a buckle strap to secure the car seat. The prior version, if you had a compatible car seat, the car seat would actually snap securely into the frame. I think this is a BIG step backwards!

The "Snap" part of the name is a little deceptive. Reading the name, you might think that a car seat could be snapped into the carrier like it would be in a car seat base. This is not the case. The Snap N Go is a "universal" carrier, and doesn't snap, click or connect with any proprietary bases.

How it does work: Most infant car seats can be dropped -- gently, of course -- into the adjustable "hammock" and then you can secure the seat with another seat belt-like strap as if you were securing it in a car without the matching base. The "snap," I suppose, is the clicking of the plastic buckle when you secure the two halves of this retaining strap.

The carrier folds up small enough to fit in my very tiny trunk. It's got (shallow) cupholders and a storage basket big enough for a diaper bag. It's affordable and gets the job done.

I buy lots of things and usually never write a review. I find myself easy going and easily pleased! This is not the case here and I feel it is important to inform future buyers. BEWARE. I bought this snap n go back in May when I first had my son. Since he was number 3 I figured it would be great to have when running quick errands to the grocery store and light enough that one of my older kids could help me out by wheeling it around! It completely broke. The car seat almost fell off and the baby could have been injured. When looking at the product after this incident it seems that it was not properly made. The rivet holes don't line up to even fix it and it was most likely a manufacturer defect. The front piece completely gave out and the car seat started to fall off (even with the buckles which are supposed to be for safety). Luckily I caught it in time. I would not recommend this product. If you do go ahead and purchase this product please examine it carefully before use as your child's safety is most important!!
