5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Book for young readers, August 31, 2002
This review is from: The Baby Unicorn (Paperback)
I first read this book when i was about seven and in the "fantasy" stage of life. LOL. it struck me as cute when i first read it.
Star the baby unicorn presents the perfect character for a child to focus on.
on the first page it tell about Star's birth, and then goes on to tell about why the unicorns and the dragons are enimies. after, star is requiered to learn about courage so she can be the final unicorn in a spell to make the dragons friendly(it requires eight unicorns but there are only seven). i recommend the book "the cabbage moth & the shamrock" by Ethel Marbach, in addition to this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great book about a baby unicorn who earns her horn, November 30, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Baby Unicorn (Paperback)
This is about a baby unicorn, Star, who is one of the last of the unicorns, for most of the others were lost in battles between unicorns and dragons. Her mother tries to keep her safe, but eventually they go off together in search of the other unicorns while the baby unicorn tries to grow her horn. This was one of my favorite books when I was younger, and I recomend it to ages 4-6 and maybe more. I still like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book as a child, December 19, 1999

This review is from: The Baby Unicorn (Paperback)
Thinking about unicorns, this story was the first thing that popped into my head. I had this book when I was very little and I loved it. I liked hearing about Star and the other unicorns. I still remember what the illustrations looked like, too. It's a good book for young children who have a big imagination and like to be read to.

First off i would just like to say that this was a book of my childhood. I grew up with this book. What some may call a fantasy, but what i have learned was reality. My favorite book by far, and i can still say that today at the age [I am now]. ANY UNICORN OR DRAGON LOVER SHOULD OWN THIS BOOK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical childhood memories, June 7, 2007
This review is from: The Baby Unicorn (Paperback)
I absolutely adore this book. The storyline is beautiful, but more than anything it leaves you with a an imagination full of possibilities. I loved this book as a child and I still love it now. It's a great magical book for children. Who didn't pretend that they had magical powers? Love it!

When she was 4, my daughter obtained a hand-me-down copy from her cousin who's ten years older, and it's delighted her, her friends and her little cousins ever since. They all want to read this story over and over again.
