Sheryl Ann Crawford is the author of 10 books for children and teachers. Her latest book, Easy-to-Read-Science Plays: The Human Body was published by Scholastic Resources (for grades 1-2). Sheryl's articles on writing can be read on the Institute of Children's Literature website under RX for Writers. Other writing includes magazine stories for Highlights, BabyBug, and Clubhouse Jr. Her story, Kitten's Climb, is part of a reading comprehension booklet (Harcourt/Trophies) and is used in schools throughout the United States. She is currently working on several FUN picture books, an exciting science-based early chapter book--and she's looking for a publisher! Sheryl has taught beginning writing classes at a number of conferences and her local community college. In her "spare" time she is a Volunteer Registered Nurse for the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team. When she can, she volunteers as a shelter nurse for victims of earthquakes, fires, floods, and other disasters. Sheryl lives in Southern California and is married to Bob (her UCLA Bruin!), has two sons, two granddaughters, and several rescued dog "children" who wear her out. "A BABY who will change the world-- born in our stable tonight?" the animals ask. The Ox thinks it will be a baby ox.
Tthe sheep thinks it must be a newborn lamb. The cow is certain it will be a calf. How shocked they are to learn that it's a baby human boy. "How can a sinful human save humans from their sins?" they exclaim in astonishment.When they see that this is no ordinary human baby-- but God's perfect Son, they're elated. Watch these delightful animals as they celebrate the arrival of the baby who really did change the world! A wonderful book!
