This review is from: Baby You Can Drive My Car (Hardcover)
If you're a fan of People Magazine and the like, you'll probably enjoy this book. Keith Badgery served as a personal driver for many a famous name, and acquired an intimate knowledge of almost all of his clients.

The book is a quick, easy read. Some of it is a bit grating, and the name dropping gets a bit tiring, but most of his stories are heartfelt, funny and interesting.

It is obvious that he holds most of his former clients in high regard, as you get the feeling there is so much more to the story that he knows, but is respectful (or fearful) enough not to tell. However, the book is not short on juicy details, and there are many things revealed about stars that I would never have guessed or known otherwise.

The book seems to hold its main focus around Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, which is actually quite nice. It was interesting to read about a side of their relationship that tabloids didn't invade and destroy. Don't worry, there are many, many stories about other celebrities as well.

All in all, it's a perfectly decent book. There are some funny moments, and even some sad moments. The stories aren't captivating or thought provoking, they're just gossipy fun. Why not?
