I know this piece if very expensive. But I personally think it's worth the money. First of all, it's very well made. Not a cheap plastic toy. Second, when the baby sits in the bouncer, you have a perfect toy for the little one to play with. The toy is also well designed to help with child's development. I can see my baby is making progress with it. First, she would use her fist to hit the pieces to rotate them, probably more of a reflex. Then, she started to open her palms and tried to use her fingers to rotate the pieces. She is very into it whenever she plays it. So I can go to the kitchen to grab some stuff or wash a few dishes while she plays it. It's absolutely adorable watching her play this toy. I love it. Good investment.
BTW, my DD is 3 months old.

This toy bar is ridiculously expensive, but that is the only negative. And, if you can afford the bouncer, you can probably afford the toy bar.

My son started sitting in his bouncer at around 4 weeks, but he couldn't grab at this toy (or even really care to look at it) until around 6-7 weeks. Then he started sitting in the chair for longer stretches of time and pawing at the toy bar. It was really the only thing that would keep him entertained. Now at almost 4 months he still loves to bat at it and look at it. I'm not sure how much longer it will interest him, but it has been worth the money. It's beautiful, well made, and durable. It still looks brand new after daily use. It's easy to wipe down and fits on the chair well. It's really cute, too!

We have been attaching other toys to the toy bar with links, and this makes it even more worth it. I'd buy this, and the bouncer, all over again without hesitating.

Get it! It's worth it!

My 4 mo old loves this toy when using the baby bjorn bouncer. I introduced this toy to her when she was 3 mo old and she was already immediately attracted to it. Now she can play it for a long time. The wood and the color are great quality, easily to install and take off. Most importantly baby loves it.

This is a very nice well made piece but it is very pricey. It's not a necessity. I could have done without it but it is hard to give up...it is really cute and very well made :) I think I like the look of it more than my baby likes playing with it....

Cute idea but not worth the price! We loved the baby bjorn seat and added this at about 4m. Baby loved it for 10 min but after that was irritated with the toy in his face. It's not adjustable and doesn't stay on well. We may have kept it if we bought it sooner but at his age he really was more interested in looking at real people! It's cute and I love that it's mostly wood and no overstimulating lights or bad quality music so I still give 3 stars!
If you're going to buy it do it when baby is young and only bring it out once in a while. Also, make sure it attaches well.
Worth trying out since Amazon offers no hassle returns!

My baby LOVED this around 3-4 months. Now that he's 4 months he preferd things he can chew, but he still likes it sometimes. Just an FYI though, there is plastic on this toy (the petals and red part around the face), it's not all wood

It's pretty, and it's wood and very nice, but it's so expensive and it doesn't keep either of our twins occupied for very long compared to the much cheaper and more versatile Tiny Love Take Along Arch (we have both this wooden toy and the takealong arch for both our Baby Bjorn seats). Yes the takealong arches are big and plastic but they fold up and you can put them away, and you can use them on other things like car seats, cribs, stroller so they are very versatile. The wooden toy only fits the Baby Bjorn and keeps attention for a few minutes. My girls, at least, stay much longer in the bouncer with the Takealong arch because it's more interesting, colorful, etc.

We got the "Sunny stroll" one and have used it on the Bjorn bouncers, car seats, Mamaroo, and crib. It attaches to pretty much anything.

http://www.amazon.com/Tiny-Love-Take-Along-Sunny-Stroll/dp/B000S9RF4M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415473014&sr=8-1&keywords=tiny+love+take+along+arch

I understand that anyone buying the Baby Bjorn bouncer doesn't want big plastic gaudy baby stuff, and neither did I. But when the twins came, I realized that a clean house comes not from having tasteful baby toys but from having an adult in the house with 15 minutes to clean up. In order to get those 15 minutes, I need toys and things that actually occupy the babies for long enough. Time makes a clean house, not just nice-looking baby gear.

So to me, the issue is, which toy saves me the most time so I can clean my house in little increments here and there. For us, the wooden one was cute but gave me 5 minutes instead of 15 or 20 with the Take along arch and that's a big difference with little babies.

I bought this for my Baby Bjorn Babysitter bouncy-type chair. It is worth the price. It fits on the chair perfectly and provides her with endless entertainment. It appears to be a high-quality product and it is attractive looking and fun.

Kind of bummed about this one. The toybar is nice looking- which, frankly, is why I purchased the bjorn bouncer over other less expensive assault-on-the-senses bouncers. But my daughter hardly even notices it's there. By contrast, she LOVES her $7 bright starts toy bar. I'm sure there are some kids who would respond to this, but this was a $45 total miss. My daughter is pretty easy going, but I can hardly keep her in her bjorn bouncer for more than a few minutes since she doesn't have anything to stimulate her while she's in it.

I bought this 3 years ago when my daughter was about a month or 2 old. As a baby, she seemed to enjoy this. As they grow so quickly, I can't say I'd buy an item like this again at that expense. However, perhaps this little googly eyed colorful toy-attachment to her BabyBjorn rocker played an integral part in shaping who she is today??? Perhaps without this item, she might've turned into one of those mis-behaving A-wipe kids that we all see from time to time at the grocery store. Nope, that didn't happen. She is a well-behaved, smart, super cool, confident 3 year old who has Louie C.K's sense of humor! I can't say with certainty that this wooden toy helped my daughter to develop into such a cool chic, but I can't rule it out either.
