This is a wonderful option, probably the best one out there in the market of travel cribs. It is in the high price range but there is always a reason in my opinion. This portable crib/pen is the perfect marriage of form follows function! the design is stylish and functional. The carrying case is light weight and not awkward in shape as most popular brands and the mattress is so comfy I could not believe it. My husband and I were static, our little daughter loves it and I am planning to use it in the near future as a play pen for her when she starts walking.

The Oeko-Tex 100 certification for non-toxic materials is what attracted us to this travel crib. However, we purchased one that came with a POLYURETHANE foam mattress. What the??!! On Baby Bjorn's website it states that the materials "closest" to our children are Oeko-Tex certified. You'd think that would mean the mattress but they should be specific. We contacted their customer service and was told our mattress wasn't polyurethane. The tag attached to ours says the mattress is "100% polyurethane foam". So, we asked for a new mattress...maybe somehow we ended up with a wrong mattress. They sent us a new mattress with identical foam but it was discolored around the edges. The new tag says that it is polyether foam, but it's so identical to the first that I don't have any faith in this. It's wonderful that the great people at Moonlight Slumber helped us out with a custom natural mattress pad from their Natural Line(like their bassinet/craddle mattress pads) for the travel crib. For traveling, we are keeping the Baby Bjorn foam mattress pad it came with, but we have a Babesafe mattress wrap (made with non-toxic food-grade polyethylene) to take care of the off-gassing, and a custom-sized Naturepedic waterproof puddle pad. If you choose to use a Babesafe mattress wrap, the width is measured as girth so you have to measure 360 degrees around the width.

We did a lot of research before registering for items for our first daughter. My husband and I were SOLD when watching how easily this folds out, up and how light it is (11 lb) [...] It was really the answer to everything we were looking for in a portable crib. We also like that it's good through age 3, so we will get a lot of use out of it. We went with the silver color so we can use it for multiple children. Our daughter sleeps very well in it. The only thing I wish they offered was a changing table option to put across the top. That would have come in handy many times, but not handy enough to go for some of the other models out there :)

Love this playpen! At first was a little hesitant about the cost and the small size of the play pen, but was attracted to the sleek look and light carrying option as we travel a lot and I am often going thru the airport with my baby and luggage by myself. My baby is now 13 months old and because of circumstances has been sleeping in this every night for THREE months. He loves it and sleeps great in it. He is very tall for his age but still has LOTS of room to roll and move around, and loves cuddling up to the soft sides. Sets up so nice and easy, washes like a dream, and there is lots of room in carrying bag to stuff some extra things that won't fit in a suitcase. I passed on the $40 dollar Bjorn sheet and bought a Kushies play yard sheet that fits perfectly. (for about $15) The ONLY downside I can think of and I say this very lightly is because it is right on the ground at first its a little tricky to put your sleeping babe down without waking them. But this was a minor issue for a VERY short time! Would definitely recommend to a friend!!

With twins we needed something that was fast and easy to set up and take down. I can have both of these set up or taken down in less then 5 minutes. Super small packaging makes storing or traveling with easy!! Kids love being able to see out of the mesh and the quality is superb!!

Our 5 months old loved it! So we did!! It is very easy to fold and unfold an it is super light too. We are very happy with it. It is worth every penny.

Forget the pack 'n plays with their 2 million parts and complicated directions. I literally pulled this out of its super nice carrying case and it snapped together by itself! I didn't even read directions, it just happened!! Its so light and easy to use and it packs up nicely in its carrying case. No spending 30 minutes taking it apart and then praying that it fits back in it case nicely. I know its a little pricey but I promise you will not regret this purchase!! From trips out of town to short visits to a friend's house or the grandparent's, this is the best travel crib/play pen EVER!
