Product Description

The BabyHawk Mei Tai is one of the most loved carriers and is the perfect choice for your newborn through toddler age. Stylish print on one side reverses to a solid color of the straps on the other, giving you two looks to one carrier. Use the lightly padded headrest up to support your younger babies, or sleeping babes. Fold it down when not needed so your child can see! Shoulder straps are lightly padded as well so the carrier is super comfy. The Mei Tai is a traditional Chinese style of baby carrier, consisting of a rectangular "seat area" with four straps: two that tie around the wearer's waist and two that go over the shoulders. It is great for carrying babies of all ages, on front or back.

The BabyHawk is called "The Cure for the Common Baby Carrier" for a reason. Not only is the carrier the most versatile baby carrier I've come across, but also the easiest to use. I was given four different slings for shower presents and I returned them all for a Baby Hawk. The carrier comes in so many styles and colors, you are sure to find one that you love too.
My sister-in-law introduced me to this carrier after I brought my daughter home from the NICU. I raced out to buy one shortly after I saw exactly how many things I could get done around the house while being hands free and keeping my daughter close at the same time. I was able to wear her then, and even now a year later, and my sister-in-law still uses her carrier with my three year old niece. Why buy a carrier that is only going to last you 6 months? This one will last for as long as you are able to carry your child on your back. The flexible carrier has no buckles or clips, so it can be adjusted exactly the way that you want. It is wonderful to not have to worry about whether the buckles will come unclasped or if they will stay tight enough. I love the fact that it can be a front carrier, or a backpack, or can support your child on your hip. It is so lightweight, and can be packed so easily. I throw it in the stroller or the car on all our trips, and if we don't use it, one of our friends does.
The BabyHawk has been featured in many magazines and parenting awards. You can even see a letter from Sean "Diddy" Combs on the BabyHawk website, telling them thank you for the innovative and comfortable baby carrier. I bet if you join all of us who have discovered this wonderful baby carrier, you will not regret it for one second!

I bought a Babyhawk when I was pregnant with my first child on recommendations from friends. My daughter didn't really like tummy to tummy carries, so I ended up using a ring sling for her when she was an infant. But my second child loves being carried in the Babyhawk, and I have found it to be the most comfortable and the easiest carrier to use at this time (my son is 7 weeks old). I love that the head support is built in (unlike the Ergo, which has a separate infant insert that made the carrier feel too bulky to me), that I can really get the carrier tight around my son. I appreciate that I can get him out of it very easily (especially helpful if he's asleep when I want to take him out). I do love the Ergo, and have used it for the past three years with my older child, but right now I'm loving the Babyhawk for my infant.

It's nice enough. Product is as shown but my baby never liked it and would not stay a minute in it. Also I did not like the tie straps and seemed a bit less secure.
