Product Description

Color: Aqua Falling Leaves

The BabyHawk Oh SNAP! Isn't just pretty…it works! Do you have a toddler who hates the stroller or grocery cart? A baby who needs carried while you care for your older child? A newly walking toddler who isn't going to reliably make it all the way around.

Customer Reviews

It is a sturdy carrier that softens up nicely with use and seems very well made.

I also tried the Ergo Carrier and Baby Bjorn carrier... Neither fit and neither was close to as comfortable as the BabyHawk Oh Snap.

I hardly notice the extra weight, and it is very comfortable for me, and I have neck and lower back issues.

I ordered this carrier a few weeks ago and loved it right away. Easy to use, comfortable and is super adjustable. The third time I was wearing it though some stitching ripped out of the webbing that holds the strap to the body of the carrier. I submitted a exchange request to Amazon which was fast and easy. They shipped me a replacement that same day and provided a label to send the defective one back. I got the replacement a few days later and about three days later I noticed that the horizontal stitching across the headrest was unravelling. This time I contacted Babyhawk directly as I had two defective carriers from them in a row. The woman I spoke with(Jess in customer service) told me they would help me faster than amazon and replace the carrier. She told me to email her with pictures of the problem and to let her know what color/pattern I wanted in return. 3 days went by with no response so I forwarded the email back to her again from my sent file. She responded back and said she would get a shipping label to me on that coming Monday so I could have it repaired. I emailed her back reminding her that she had said it would be replaced. She emailed back and stated that the stitched looked clipped implying that I had damaged the carrier myself! I would have no reason to damage the carrier myself as Amazon is great about returns/exchanges or at least has been in my experience. I let her know how upset/offended I was and frustrated as I'd already would have had the replacement had I gone through Amazon. She said she will talk to her boss and get back to me about a replacement. Five days went by and I did not hear back so I returned this carrier for a refund to Amazon.

I purchased this carrier to replace my Ergo carrier that was lost in the airport. I am so glad i purchased this instead of getting another ergo. This carrier is far more supportive and comfortable for me thanks to the many adjustment options. The waist belt is more structured and supportive, and the shoulder straps are slightly less padded, but are no less comfortable - it just helps cut down on bulk. The body of the carrier is wider and taller than the ergo, giving my baby better support as well. Back carries are more comfortable, and baby can sit higher so she can see over my shoulder, where this is not the case with the Ergo.

We also have a Pikkolo carrier, which is also more comfortable and versatile than an Ergo. The Babyhawk is definitely my fav, Pikkolo is a close second, and the Ergo third. Prior to purchasing a non-mainstream carrier we had a Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier....which was awful! If youre shopping for a carrier, definitely consider the BabyHawk! You cant go wrong.

I have never written a review before... But this company has earned it. I'm a big, athletic guy (CrossFit athlete)... 6'2", 250 lbs, 52" chest, 38" waist. This is the only carrier that even came close to fitting me comfortably. No surprise, my son is big too... At 6 months old he weighs over 20 lbs and he's already wearing 12-18 month old clothes. Because of the size of my chest... The carrier fit now... But barely... And I was afraid that as my son grew the carrier wouldn't fit because it would be too tight around my chest. So I emailed info@babyhawk.com and explained my issue and asked if there were shoulder strap extensions available. The owner of the company emailed me back within days and said that she had never had this type of request before and would be happy to have a pair of shoulder strap extensions custom made for me! I got them about a week later and they work PERFECTLY. THANK YOU BabyHawk for your great product and EXEMPLARY customer service!

BTW... If you're a big, athletic guy... This is the only carrier that I would recommend. I also tried the Ergo Carrier and Baby Bjorn carrier... Neither fit and neither was close to as comfortable as the BabyHawk Oh Snap.

We get compliments on this carrier wherever we go. The snaps make it easy and quick to put on, and I can wear it for hours and both I and baby are comfy. Note that your baby must be about 16 lbs to use this carrier, or big enough to sit in it with his/her legs around you. I also have an Ergo and don't like it nearly as much--the Ergo is a pain to put on and it feels like the shoulder straps are always sliding off. Wear your baby instead of lugging her around in one of those hideous heavy car seat travel systems. You'll both be happier for it.

When I run errands or walk for exercise, I like to carry my 2 year old son on my back. I use a woven wrap or mei tai. I've been wanting to try a carrier with buckles for a long time due to the quickness of putting it on. I finally ordered an Oh Snap and was thrilled at its appearance when I took it out of the box. The shoulder straps can criss cross in the back if you do a front carry. The foam portion of the waist belt has 3 pieces...a big one to go accross the back and 2 small ones that come around on the side of the parent's waist. The body of the carrier is nicely padded where the baby's legs are positioned and there are seat darts.

My excitment ended when I started adjusting the carrier to put it on. I am petite and adjusted the main waist belt to the smallest size. Since it was still too big, I adjusted the side buckles as well. When it put it around my waist it was very uncomfortable. The back portion of the waist support is wider than my back. So, that big rectangular piece sort of ends up coming around my sides. Because it does not fit well, it offers zero back support and feels extremely uncomfortable and confining. This carrier is supposed to fit women from size zero to men size XXL. Yes, it can adjust to fit all of those people, but was not comfortable for me. I think it would work better if Babyhawk offered at least 2 sizes of this carrier (based on a parent's size). Additionally, this is supposed to work for children up to 45 pounds. My son is 26 pounds but this carrier is too short for him. Our toddler size mei tai carriers are taller. The padded upper portion of the carrier body is very stiff.

I sent back the Oh Snap right away. The workmanship on the carrier is great and it is very pretty. It just did not fit us properly.
