5.0 out of 5 stars Very Satisfied
i read the reviews of these and decided to go with them despite complaints, and i am very happy i did. they absorb more and stick less than my organic cotton ones. they are also wider circumference, bunch less, and show less. i wash mine on delicate, give them a few tugs, and line dry them, and i have had no problem with bunching, shrinking, or losing shape. i have...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not that great
At first these pads worked fine if you only have a few leaks, but the more I washed them the more ridiculous they became. They come out of the washer and dryer all wadded and even after stretching them out, they leave you very lumpy looking. I wouldn't recommend them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very thin, lots of leaking through shirt, January 7, 2010

I am very disappointed in these Nursing Pads - jersey product. They are very, very thin and do not absorb leakage hardly at all. I can have one feeding and the nursing pad is soaked through enough to leak through my shirt. To get any kind of proper protection, I have to practically wear all 3 pads at one time. I do not even feel secure enough to wear these outside my home because they allow leakage through my shirt so easily.

I feel like these were a complete waste of my money. I want to be environmentally conscience as much as possible & buy reusable products but bad products like these nursing pads make a person want to give up & just buy the disposables nursing pads because you know those won't leak.

I absolutely do not recommend this product at all. - they are soft & I liked the size. I'll give them that much credit.

I tried 3 different brands and these are my favorite reusable nursing pads. Yes, I get drenched through my shirt when I go for a long time without nursing like overnight but they dry up quickly as well since they are breathable. Let's face it. All of the reusable nursing pads leak with a lot of milk supply (I never tried Lily Pads though). Knowing that, I use them to reduce waste and save money. These are perfect to use at home or outside if you know you'll be nursing regularly. If I know I will be outside for a long time without nursing, I will wear disposable pads which do not let milk leak through.

These are very absorptive and they don't crunch up like Medela pads so I like these the best.

After going through a box of Dr. Browns nursing pads the first month after my baby was born, I decided to go for the washable pads and wanted to use some organic cotton ones. After I bought these and followed the detailed washing instructions (three times separately in hot water) I tried them out and leaked right through them. Very disappointed. Now it's back to the disposable pads.

I use these pads whenever I go out. I like that they are thin and can't really be seen through my shirt. My bras tend to be made of thin material and I like that I don't have to worry about people staring at my chest wondering "what those circles are?". I don't leak a whole lot; I always pump or nurse when I feel milk building up. But when I haven't been able to I haven't had any problems with leaking thru the pad either. Much better than disposables and more absorbent than cotton. Highly recommended!

I've tried three brands of washable and several disposables and these are by far the best in the long run (the Kushies have a seam that is uncomfortable). Babykicks also makes a flannel set, but over the long haul the jersey wash down to be softer. I've never had an issue with crinkling and always put them in the dryer - they come out perfectly flat (otherwise any brand dries stiff and uncomfortable if left to air dry). After 5 months of use, mine are nicely worn in (like a favorite soft cotton T-shirt that's been washed a million times). Some people complain that you have to wash them 5-6 times to get them soft - in the long run you'll wash them hundreds of times, depending on the day I can go through several in a hour (once they have any bit of wetness on them I chuck them in the laundry bin). If you're not yet nursing, buy several sets and just keep washing them every time you do laundry & they'll be great by the time the baby arrives. The disposables I couldn't even wear for 15 minutes they were so uncomfortable, plus they made plastic crinkle noises.

1.0 out of 5 stars No waterproof backing!, August 5, 2009

As much as I wanted these reusable pads to work they just don't. They are sufficiently absorbent but since there is no waterproof backing on them the moisture comes straight through. Even if I leak a bit it will quickly come through my bra and on to my shirt. There is no way I can wear these out of the house; I have no confidence that they work. I do still use them at home since I have them but need to use all three sets in a day. As soon as there is any moisture on the pads I change them before they soak through to my bra and shirt.

The only other reusable pads that I have are the Gerber and while they are not as absorbent they do have the waterproof backing and work better as well as being less expensive. I have no idea how much I leak in comparison to others but If I have disposable pads on they easily last all day or all night.

A reusable pad that works!! I use this all day and never have a problem with leaks, even in the early morning engorgement phase, it holds up like a champ. The only downfall is it's size. It's rather large for me, but it might be perfect for others.
