I really do love this stroller! The canopy is much larger than any normal umbrella stroller and the foot rest is adjustable, which my daughter loves. The only thing is that I have such a long stride that my feet occasionally still kick the wheels. This is a problem I have had with other strollers so I don't hold it against them.
I also love that this stroller sits straight up and reclines all the way flat! This is a great buy.

This stroller is likely the most sturdy of the true lightweight strollers on the market. My wife and I spent a lot of time researching lighter strollers due to the fact our Britax Chaperone stroller had nearly fallen completely apart in less than 9 months. The Britax system was also extremely expensive, bulky, very heavy and not user friendly. The BabyPlanet stroller on the other hand is quite the opposite. It weighs about half as much as the Britax, the materials are of good quality and the construction initially seems very sturdy. The folding mechanism is two part (pull handle and a push to unlock) - and is the only minor complaint we have. The system seems to be a simple solution to increase overall safety. Nevertheless, the stroller is still much easier to fold down than the Britax. We bought the Endangered Species series (Monarch Butterfly) - mostly because the Tim and Leslie (essentially the same stroller - different color scheme) was so unattractive. All of the Endangered Species strollers were much more attractive than the Tim and Leslie line - which makes you wonder why they quit making the endangered species line. The Monarch Butterfly version is the last in the endangered species series still available. It's quite visually pleasing, it stands out well in a crowd (good visibility - which is a big safety plus), and is also boy/girl neutral. The stroller folds down, and collapses inward, making the folded package fairly narrow. The folded length is a little long for shallow trunks/hatches, and a little too long to go in sideways in a compact car. We drive a pair of Jetta Sportwagons, and the hatch area is about 3 inches too short to go straight in, however it fits in diagonally perfectly well.Read more ›

I have the Snow Leopard version of this stroller and have been using it for the past 3 years, since my son was 6 months old. It has a lot of nice features and is very attractive. However, I did not find it to be very durable, and my son is now too big for it - the canopy is too for him. We had our first issues (broken harness, broken canopy, broken basket, broken cupholder) in the first year and Baby Planet replaced everything with no problem, but then we had the wheels fall apart and the new canopy break within 18 months after that. I do use this stroller a lot but I think some other brands hold up better to wear and tear.

Great things about this stroller:

Canopy - large, with a peekaboo window and pocket
Not tippy at all - I put tons of stuff on the handles and it never tips over
Nice recline
Nice upholstery
Attractive design

Disadvantages:

Heavier, and a slightly bulkier fold than some other umbrella strollers
Not as durable as I would like
Both narrow and short for older children (I would say it is okay up to age 3 for kids on the taller side)
Steering is not as smooth as a Maclaren (not really one-handed)

I don't regret the purchase as it did work well for us for 3 years, but I would have liked it to have lasted through 2 children rather than just one.

I was looking for a stroller for my son who was almost 3.5 years old. He is now going to be 4 years old. Reviews looked good for this stroller, so I started comparing....I found some that were cheaper in price, but construction/quality build (based on reviews) was meh. SO I decided to try this one out.

Delivery was good...typical brown cardboard box with some padding...acceptable to me. It was wrapped in plastic so it wouldn't get dirty and it had that new stroller smell (yes, I didn't know that strollers could smell new!)?!?!?!?

There were a few parts to attach, which took only two minutes and didn't require any tools (I believe it was the hood area).

The stroller itself has an aluminum body making it light weight but very strong and durable. It has over sized wheels to tackle the various road detours you may encounter. I have taken the stroller on the sidewalk, park grass, and some minor dirt patches with no problem. The stroller itself is tall but can become very compact when folded. You can turn the stroller with ease using just one hand. It is very maneuverable...It has an expandable hood which provides the right amount of shade on a very sunny day. That feature alone was very important to me since many strollers these days have small hoods to block the Sun.

Overall, I am very pleased with this stroller since purchasing it.....I recommend!

Good luck!

We purchased this Baby Planet Endangered Species Sport stroller in the Lemur Frog pattern as an alternative to a much bulkier Graco System stroller for our first granddaughter Jane about a year ago. Since then, we use it often and lend it to Jane's parents for special trips. She has visited a busy farm show arena, tooled around hilly, rough neighborhood streets, cruised the mall, toured the beach and zoo, hiked on a wooded trail, and enjoyed many trips to grassy playgrounds in it. The maneuverability is outstanding on all surfaces.

While not the smallest collapsible stroller, this folds down and secures easily enough to put into a compact sedan trunk with room to spare and even into the back seat area perched upright. One minor drawback I have noted is the swiveling nature of the thick tires when I want to store it (so I secure them with a large rubber band when the stroller is in the trunk). Also, I would have liked a feature for standing the folded stroller upright; but at least the side latch is effective. The unisex color is vibrant; the black is classy-looking. The fabric cleans easily and looks like new. The harness is easy to use and adjust, but difficult for little hands to open. The canopy with its extra flap is one of the largest I have ever noticed on any umbrella or full-sized stroller.

Jane is tall for her age, but her back and head are well-supported; the seat itself is wide and does not cramp her ability to take along a baby doll or a snack container. The beverage holder is fine for water bottles or tall cups. I added a
