A Wonderful Investment
This has to be the best investment you can make towards your child before they are born, and the results will effect them for their whole life! It felt like a big commitment for me to have to run the program 2 times a day, and near the end of my pregnancy I was annoyed with having anything strapped across my belly, but I am so glad I pushed through. My daughter was born with hearing loss after using this product, November 26, 2008
Starting at around 30 weeks, I used the BabyPlus system as directed. My daughter was in a breached position (head up), with her left ear facing my outer stomach for most of the pregnancy. Due to her positioning, the BabyPlus system was playing primarily into her left ear. She was born on July 16th (2008), with permanent (moderate - possibly moderate to severe) sensorineural hearing loss in her left ear. This type of hearing loss is mainly "..due to poor hair cell function. The hair cells may be abnormal at birth...There are both external causes of damage, like noise trauma ..." My husband's family and my family do not have any history of hearing loss. Needless to say, we're in shock. Our daughter will be wearing a hearing aid for the rest of her life - starting now, at 4 months old. I cannot guarantee that the hearing loss was caused by this product; but, this seems like too much of a coincidence. I regret using this product and would like to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience. I could not keep a clear conscience, if I did not post this warning.

A Wonderful Investment, May 10, 2006
This has to be the best investment you can make towards your child before they are born, and the results will effect them for their whole life! It felt like a big commitment for me to have to run the program 2 times a day, and near the end of my pregnancy I was annoyed with having anything strapped across my belly, but I am so glad I pushed through. My daughter is AMAZING! I am in awe at her sweet spirit and her advancement. Baby Plus did everything it promised and more! Here are some examples:
At birth: eyes wide open, hands open, instant excellent nurser, slept 4-6 hours at night, very calm and happy, cried only when hungry.
At 1 month: smiling all the time at everyone, sleeping 8-10 hrs. at night., recognized mom and dad's faces.
At 2 months: laughing, holding head up
At 3 months: pressing buttons on toys for 6mos +, rolling both directions, holding own bottle
At 4 months: sitting with support
At 5 months: sitting without support, drinking from sippy cup, singing, saying first words
At 6 months: puts self to sleep, pulled self to standing position, creeping... and now almost crawling.
I am completely amazed at her advancements. People mistake her for being 3-6 months older than she is, and they say she is the happiest baby they have ever known.
I am totally sold on Baby Plus!

Worth the Time and Money, October 20, 2005
I definitely recommend the BabyPlus. Sure, the extended family made fun of us, calling it "the knocker" and saying we were nerds and we would drive the baby nuts . . . but she is almost 18 months now and ("knock" wood) she has always been an excellent sleeper, a healthy eater, has a wonderful disposition, loves music, books and art, and already has over 100 words. Now I'm pregnant again, and in addition to the healthy diet, exercise, regular belly talking, and eventually breastfeeding, BabyPlus is once again part of the plan. Oh, like another reviewer, I too have found customer service to be extremely responsive. Good company, great product.

Nature vs. Nurture, August 3, 2008
I borrowed this product from a friend of mine for my second pregnancy. My second baby was about on par with my first baby as far as early verbal skills, which is currently the ONLY proven sign of possible giftedness. I think that this product has a lot to do with the parents that are able to buy/gain access to it. Parents who have the money/are willing to spend the money on this sort of system are often the same parents who spend a great deal of time with their children. This is probably the main factor in determining early and later skills. Of course, I am not discouraging its use as it certainly can't hurt, but I think we need to give ourselves a bit more credit for being the fabulous mommies that we are!

AMAZING!!!!, November 10, 2005
This product is just as necessary and beneficial as your prenatal vitamins, in my opinion. I used Baby Plus starting at 19 weeks pregnant with our daughter, who is now 26 months. Of course, everyone I told was skeptical, but I thought, "What can it hurt?". When she was born, she was alert and didn't cry at all. She was wide eyed and aware. She slept through the night from the day we brought her home, only waking to eat but went right back to sleep. She then of course hit all of her milestones early; sitting by herself at 5 months, crawling at 6 months, walking at 9 1/2 months. She weaned herself from a bottle. She took her last drink from a bottle the day of her first birthday and never wanted it again. Since her 1st birthday it has been one amazing accomplishment after another. People that meet her think she is closer to 4; not having just turned 2. They marvel at how well behaved she is and I am often asked by pregnant friends, "how can I make sure my baby turns out like her?" She retains information and has a memory that is unbelievable; she will bring up something in clear detail that happened 3 months before that hasn't even been talked about since. She can sing pretty much any song she hears on the radio and knows every nursery rhyme/song by heart. She has conversations with people around her like a 5 year old would, as her speech is completely intelligible. She has been saying her ABCs since 20 months and can count to 20. She also knows all colors and shapes which she has known for the last couple of months. And she also is the most outgoing child. She gets along well and shares with all of her friends at Mother's Day Out and had no separation anxiety about going. I am now 36 weeks pregnant with our second daughter and I have been using the Baby Plus with this one as well, beginning at 20 weeks. At 27 weeks I had to go into the hospital as I was having some very strong Braxton Hicks that my doctor was concerned about. The L&D nurse told us that our baby was just very active and they have rarely seen such neurological development in a fetus of 27 weeks. She said that typically they don't see a fetus' brain development that active until 33 weeks. Needless to say, we are HUGE supporters of BabyPlus and everything you read about it is TRUE!!

Must have pregnancy product, October 4, 2005
I used babyplus during my first pregnancy and got the results I was hoping for - an easy baby who was content, cried little and softly, and has achieved milestones ahead of schedule. I am now on my second pregnancy and have found the customer service dept to be extremely helpful. My friends who have used the system also swear by it - I couldn't think of a better use of money than this product.

Exceptiona product, exceptional baby!!!, June 1, 2006
ok so how many people think their baby is exceptional? Well, pretty much everyone i know, and they are all right of course. Each baby is exceptional, in their own way. But how many babies are rated as exceptional by pediatricians, nurses and early childhood educators? Well, I know one - MINE! I faithfully used the babyplus system when I was pregnant. One time when using it, he started knocking back. Yeap, i actually felt him knock back at it, in rhythm. It only happened once, but I told my husband that i think this is going to be one special kid. I was about 7 months pregnant then. Well, lo and behold, after he was born people (professionals) don't stop telling us how amazing he is. He is the most aware newborn you will ever meet. He is 2 months old now, and has been sleeping through the night (11 hours at a time) since he was 2 weeks. He cries when he needs something, and never cries for no reason (but i do make sure to respond quickly to his needs so i don't know how much that has to do with it.). Yesterday he started reaching for objects. Can't quite grab them yet, but it doesn't stop him from trying. The pediatrician and the nurse remarked how incredibly physically strong he is, how aware he seems and the fact that he vocalizes to music is unheard of at this age. He's been holding his head up since the day he was born (3 days late) and has been making eye contact since about 2 weeks. So, i don't really know what if anything the baby plus system had to do with it. I mean it could be just an accident but... all I can say is that I will definitely use this product with our future children. I would pay thousands if i had to because its worth every penny.

The best early learning, August 23, 2007
Being in the field of developmental psychology, when I learned of the Babyplus system, I knew the potential benefits it could provide my unborn child. I have since been astounded by the degree to which, I believe, it has impacted my now four-year-old son, Nathaniel. When he was born and placed immediately on my belly, he instantly raised his head up and stared directly into my eyes and then into his fathers'. He did that about three times and, knowing how difficult that would be for a newborn, we were amazed.
He was incredibly aware of his surroundings and developed both perceptual and physical skills very early. He walked the very first week of his eighth month. At 10 months, he had a list of words too long to remember and was creating two to three word sentences by one year. By 18 months, he was easily constructing 45 piece puzzles on his own. To this day people consistently comment on his advanced level of language and social skills.
I am now 18 weeks pregnant with my second child and starting the Babyplus system once more. The first day that I used it, I felt an immediate responsiveness in the baby--she was kicking so much all day!
My husband is an author in the field of performance nutrition and fitness and we are both very aware of the benefits of creating the healthiest of environments for our children. The environment in the womb seems a natural place to begin bringing awareness to all of the subtle stimuli that impact physical and emotional conditions, as well as the developing infrastructure of the brain. We are very thankful for the Babyplus system for helping our little ones get the best possible advantage!
Thank you,

We're Amazed, June 4, 2007
I have to admit, I was rather skeptical when I found out about this product but after reading at length about it, we decided to give it a shot. We figured - it couldn't hurt. I'll be honest, it was a bit of a burdon to remember to use this twice a day for an hour each, but I did it faithfully and I believe this made a difference in our baby. In the "What To Expect..." book for the baby's first year, there are charts that say "will probably be able to", "may even be able to", and "may possibly be able to" by month and so far, our four month old regularly achieves most of the "may possibly be able to" every month - she's advanced in so many ways (trying to stay objective here). At birth, the delivery staff all commented how amazed at how aware she was of her surroundings. Within two weeks of birth, she was able to hold her head up steadily, she could bear weight on her legs and is a very calm & incredibly smiley baby. She almost never fusses except when she's hungry and only then it's for a few moments. She's a great sleeper also. My OBGYN isn't so sure without a slew of scientific "double blind tests" and I'm glad he's so skeptical (it's his job to be). We don't know what else to attribute our happy little one's achievements toward except this product, mixed with some good blessings. I recommend this product to all my friends and family members and to you as well.

Excellent Product with Matching Customer Service, November 17, 2005
We purchased our BabyPlus in 2003. Our son is now 19 months and has completed his doctors 2 year old developmental checklist as well as about 30% of the 3 year old checklist. We also had the clips on the back break and customer service sent us a new back for the unit and the new pouch. It's great to see that not only is this a great product, but that after adding a new feature (the pouch) they are taking care of exisiting customers by "upgrading" us.
