While my 4 year old son thinks he's way too old for a "baby" seat, we often have problems keeping him sitting still at the dinner table if he's kneeling or reaching. This seat fits the bill perfectly - it's comfortable, a great height for an older toddler or preschooler that doesn't need to be belted in, it's easy to wipe or rinse clean, and it doesn't offend his sense of being a "big kid" for eating or other projects at the kitchen table. Plus he loved being able to choose from an assortment of colors.

My husband and I purchased a new dining set the day our Cooshee booster arrived. We were so excited because we didn't want our son's old, hard plastic booster seat to scratch our new chairs. The seat was working great, our son was able to climb up and down without it slipping, and it was much more comfortable for him. However, when I attempted to remove the booster to bring it out for dinner with us, the seat was STUCK to the chair. When I pulled it off, the finish from my brand new chair had stuck to the booster. I am devastated; it is the first new furniture set I have ever purchased in my life, and the chair is completely ruined. The white writing from the bottom of the Cooshee even stuck to the chair. I emailed (TWICE) BabysmartUSA and attached pictures for their review well over a month ago and received no response back. This $40 booster ended up costing us almost $300. Don't buy it unless you have old chairs that you're not particularly attached to!

We got this for our daughter, who is 5 but small for her age. It is very comfortable, and stays put on any non-upholstered chair. In fact, it stuck to our wood chair so tightly that when we finally pried it off, it took some of the finish with it. It was an old chair, but I would have been upset otherwise.

The main issue I have with this seat is that the foam is just a bit too soft to hold up to heavy use. Our daughter leans and wriggles around a lot when she's in her chair, and within a month, her leaning had caused a large rip in the foam on both sides. She weighs less than 40 pounds, so this is not good product performance in my book. A bigger problem is that our teething son, age 10 months, managed to bite off entire chunks of the foam and would have choked had I not been nearby! If he can do that with six teeth, I imagine this seat would be a real issue for kids who like to bite and chew.

We tossed our Cooshee after only a few months' use, and this time bought the Prince Lionheart version Prince Lionheart - Soft Booster Seat - Mint. It works much better for us, at a lower cost. It is not as "sticky" on chairs, and the foam is denser and harder.

I've had this booster for about a year now and I have to say that I wish I had gotten something else. It was fine at first, comfortable (my toddler is a big kid so we needed something big enough for him) and it stayed put in the chair. After about a month or so, it discolored the wooden dining chair it was sitting on - beyond repair. I'm not sure if this is true only of the green seat. Also, after about six months a crack formed in the side (my toddler is heavy, again, so it could have been due to his size) and it eventually widened to the point that a huge chunk of the seat came off altogether. This is only after 7-8 months of use. I simply cannot recommend this product and truly wish I gone with another seat.

We love this seat! I was nervous about putting my 2.5 year old in a seat that didn't attach to the chair (since our dining room chairs have no arms). But after a few weeks, it didn't slide around anymore. So, we've had no problems. No problems, that is, until the other night when we went to move it from the DR chair to the living room because he wanted to sit in it to watch TV. When I peeled it off the DR chair, it took some of the finish with it! Not good. Had it not been for that small(ish) problem, I would have given this seat a perfect rating!

This is our second Cooshee Booster Seat. We loved the first one, but it eventually disintegrated, as our daughter likes to kneel in it and that eventually breaks down the foam on the back rest. Still, it is a very comfortable, useful booster seat, so much so that we bought a new one to replace the first.

I research every baby/child product I buy thoroughly before I purchase it. I bought this booster based on good reviews on several websites. It has been one of the worst purchases I ever made.

First of all, it is over priced. Second of all, if you have padded chairs, don't even think about buying it. It won't work. It slips and slides all over the chairs. Also our padding is curved toward the back and the seat just slides back down against the curve making it hard for my kids to sit in. Third, it only lasted about 3 months before the foam started ripping all over, and that was with very LIGHT use since my kids hated it. I contacted the company to ask for some sort of suggestion to fix it, or else a refund/return, but I never got ANY kind of response from them. Not even an email. It doesn't have any kind of buckle to keep them in, and now that the foam is ending up in shreds on my kitchen floor from the kids picking at the rips, this thing is going in the trash. DEFINITELY NOT worth the $$.
