Summary:
Overall we are pleased with the quality & appearance of this piece of furniture. The finish of the exterior frame and drawer fronts is nice, smooth and clean. Our only hangup is the mediocre materials for the drawer assemblies. Inexpensive/lightweight wood for the sides & bottoms is used. If you are not careful you can overtighten the screws which will damage/split the wood.

In conclusion, this is a good buy, it looks great and is designed to last last a few years. We feel that pricing for this item should be a bit lower because of the mediocre drawer construction materials/hardware.

We received this fairly quickly after ordering and there were no problems, such as missing parts or things. No chips or dents. My husband put it together within 30 minutes(he is a carpenter) Looks great. Only things I find fault with are the drawer bottoms are somewhat flimsy and the changer on top measures around 31 inches long and doesn't fit most standard changing pads(which are 32inches) I had to return one that we received as a gift, but easily found one the right size. Overall, pleased with the dresser.

This piece looks nice in the picture and also in person. However the materials are low quality-- much lower than Ikea. The outer brown wood is soft and easily dents. The drawer sides and rear are close to balsa wood. While Ikea often uses soft woods and even cardboard within their construction, it's done in a layered way which is structurally sound. Not so here. I'm not expecting this furniture to last more than a couple of years.

Assembly takes a lot of time and extra care with force used on screws-- the slightest over-tightening will produce stripped holes and split wood.

The drawers have no dampening and close with a loud slap. Some creative use of adhesive felt solves the problem.

It's OK-- seems like it should cost under $150 given the quality.

I absolutely love this piece! Made from real wood, it easy to assemble, and so far, has been wonderfully sturdy and worth the money. My favorite aspect of this item is that it will grow with your child; use it as a changing table during infancy and a regular dresser throughout childhood. The one drawback is that the changing tray is flimsy; it split apart and I had to reassemble it with wood glue! Despite this fix, the actual dresser is beautiful, modern and - along with the convertible Modo crib - an investment that your child will use for several years.

This is the perfect piece for our nursery. It doesn't take up a lot of space, but it has quite a lot of storage and does double-duty with the removable changer top. We were looking for a nontoxic finish, which this has, and also something stylish yet affordable. This met all of our needs. It looks great with the coordinating Mercer Modern crib.

I'm very directionally challenged, so it probably took me a little longer than most to put this together. However, once I got the hang of it and actually paid attention to what the directions said...things moved along quite fast. It's very sturdy, and the changing table is removeable, so my son will be able to keep this for a while. The entire unit is much larger than I expected, which was a plus, and it is the same height as the matching crib, which really pulls the whole room together if you're as anal as I am :)

We got this changing table after returning another the Emily changing table because it broke while we were putting it together. It claims that it's made out of wood, but only the sides of the drawers are actual wood. The rest, meaning the whole outside is particle board made to look like wood. The drawers seem flimsy and my husband had to put a bolt back in it today. We've owned it for about a month. The "wood" is starting to get little dings in it already and it came with a scratch.

Besides my complaints, it looks nice and we couldn't afford to spend $600 for a real wood changing table. We wanted drawers so we could use this as a dresser. The drawers are a big which is nice also.

*This is an edit - I changed the amount of stars from 3 to 2. After having this dresser for a year, there are many scratches and the drawers are falling apart. The canging table tray on the top has come apart multiple times. I would not recommend this changing table to anyone. In hindsight we should have spent more money to get a real wood changing table.

I know it's tempting - it has a nice modern design, and it's hundreds cheaper than the designer ones you've been admiring. Here's the thing, though - it's complete effing garbage. As many other reviewers have pointed out, it's made almost completely out of particle board. (I have two other pieces of furniture in my nursery from IKEA, and I consider both to be of much better quality than this.) The drawers make a wretched scraping sound when you open them, and the top one is visably crooked - with seemingly no possible adjustments to correct the problem. Yeah, to most onlookers, it looks nice from across the room. Unfortunately, when you look at it from across the room, you're just going to feel really disgusted about what you spent on it.

I was hesitant about ordering a dresser online, but could not find anything in the local baby stores that I liked. This matches the walnut finish on my Oeuf sparrow crib perfectly. I like the clean lines and the quality is great. We had no problems putting it together and the drawers fit nicely. It's a good quality dresser and the price is great right now. I like the fact that the changing top tray is removable, so the dresser can be used for years to come.

All wood product that looks great. One drawer was cracked in the back but a little wood glue and a clamp over night fixed it right up. It was not anywhere that would have prevented the drawer from functioning. Easy to assemble and changing top blends right in and is removable for when the little no longer needs it. I think I am going to keep it on to keep the little hands from getting thingd :)
