I'm downgrading my original review from 5-stars to 1-star since this hair dryer died after just one months use. The dual voltage switch is flawed in design. There is no arrow indicating which direction the turn screw needs to be turned for 110 vs 220. After using the dryer on a 220V outlet for a couple of weeks without any problem I noticed that the turn key for the voltage was in a neutral position (ie apparently set in-between the two voltages). I had originally set it at 220V but it is apparently fairly loose and doesn't hold the position without resetting it regularly. So, seeing that it was in-between the two settings I turned it in the direction that seemed to be correct for a 220V setting. I turned it on and it worked fine for about 30 seconds and then burned out. Apparently the screw needs to be in a neutral position for 220V? It's counter-intuitive, no one would purposely set it that way. This purchase was $25 into the trashcan with only a few weeks use.
Great compact size, with all the drying power of a full-sized hair dryer. The best hair dryer I've ever purchased. 220V for international travel.
