5.0 out of 5 stars A taste of things to come in more ways than one, January 7, 2002
This review is from: Babylon 5: The Coming Of Shadows (TV Series Episode) (Audio CD)
"The Coming Of Shadows" wasn't just a pivotal episode in the most intelligent SF series ever to be made for American television, but it's also one of the show's better musical scores. The melancholy nobility of the dying Centauri Emperor, the relentless brutality of the Shadows' attacks (and the first volley fired in the Narn-Centauri war), the surprising and mysterious return of Jeffrey Sinclair, and the dawning realization of just how dark Londo Mollari is willing to dream - it's all reflected beautifully in the music, and it's not for nothing that certain scenes of the aired show had all sound stripped away, allowing the music to carry the story by itself. Very highly recommended.
