This review is from: Babylon 5: Interludes And Examinations (TV Series Episode) (Audio CD)
Christopher Franke has created some of the most dynamic music for the most original show on television. Interludes and Examinations is the perfect example of this originality. The episode marks a major plot point in the series and the music reflects this with songs which embody a sense of urgency, intrigue, passion, triumph, and great loss from its first cue to its climactic, solemn requium. Interludes and Examinations delves into the numerous personal, emotional, and political conflicts of the characters which build to a climactic, raging battle between the Shadows and the Vorlons, as well as the murder of the Vorlon ambassador Kosh. I highly recommend Interludes and Examinations to anyone who loves beautifully composed, thoughtful, and exciting symphonic music. A standout among CDs!
