I'm sorry to have to write what I'm writing but I'm an honest person and, as long as you asked for my opinion, I have to tell the truth.

I didn't know the book was illustrated, completely! However, I liked it for the scriptural references it provided. Can't say I agree with the final take and summary, but overall a good book I really purchased it for my son who had questions about Babylon in the scripture and what it means for us today. But once he saw the illustrations, he immediately declined the book But there is still time.

Thanks!

I have taught and studied this subject for over three decades. This book doesn't go into any great detail or depth, but it does get into the meat of the truth.

Read the book within one day. An absolutely lucid read. Its in comic form, and he covers something very big. Nimrod had a lot to do with paganism, and so did his descendants. It traces everything that happened from Nimrod's descendants, and shows how this relates to the religion of Rome. And how the religion of rome is still alive and well today, in at least one religion of today. One of the key things, is that the ancient gods, got mixed with just about every religion on the face of the planet. If originally their was a very calm god, with a very energetic god, certain religions would mix the two together, so according to the author a lot of these gods are hybrids, and their were only a few originally, the rest are hybrids.

It's a picture book/comic strip-type of book. It's an easy read for children. I think this book had many Biblical facts. I recommend that people read many different sources when forming opinions about the origin of religions since some of the themes in this book are strong.
