This CD was ackward to me at first seeing that I am kind of a modest girl, but in the end it really helped me see how me and my husband can communicate better and how differently we think. I really gained the understanding of letting go- stop trying to control everything and respect my husband. He is a wonderful dad- embrace it!
I recommend this cd for every couple. P.S. This should come with a warning label- cause we got pregnant with our second baby a few months later :).

This is a funny and easy to listen to book. It talks mostly about those early years and especially the first year. My kids are older though. The observations and advice seemed balanced and was pretty interesting. I definitley took away some possible solutions. Warning there is some adult language. I usually listen to Christian authors on the subject so I was surprised to hear all the curse words. There is still good info though.

Excellent for couples!!! I love the fact that it has points of view/feedback from both of the parents perspective :)
There are things everyone can relate to at some point or another. I highly recommend it for parents to listen to or read (if you buy the book). I have both so that my spouse and I can both enjoy it.

I identified with this book so much. My husband and I were having the usual issues - "I'm doing this, you're not doing that, and so on...", I kept trying to tell him it was normal and would blow over, but he didn't beleive me until now. I like that it uses point of views from both men and women and f/t working moms and stay at home moms. The book helped me understand where my husband was coming from and it helped me get my points across to him. We are now working together and sharing in the responsibilities of child rearing and taking care of the house, etc. I love the levity it brought to our situation and now we really can laugh and not care about the little things. I've recommended this book to all my friends.

After having 2 children in 3 years, any relationship can get a bit stressed. I really enjoyed the point of view this book was written from. They included many, many experiences I could relate to. At times, I also though that 'Gee, things aren't so bad!'. I plan on buying this for all of my friends who are expecting or who have had a child within the past 2 years!
