My son insisted upon hearing this particular collection of lullabies every night for years (literally). Judy Collins sings the selections so well that my husband and I were able to listen to it for years without losing our minds. We liked it so much that even after hearing it at least 1000 times (really!),I am now buying a copy for my grandson.

I love this CD and have ordered several copies over the years to give to prospective parents. As a professional singer/musician, I appreciate the high quality of this music. The songs are lovely and do not get old after listening to it several times. (Which is what many new parents do when trying to put a baby to sleep!) Also, a book is available with the texts for those of you who want to sing along.

All my kids have listened to this CD before bed each night. It's one of the few lalluby CD's which actually calms them to sleep.

I received this cassette as a baby shower gift and my daughter has been listening to it at bedtime for the last 4 years (on & off). Perfect for babies through preschoolers. We love it!

listening to Judy's voice and these lullabies brings back precious memories, brings up cuddling rock-a-bye dream thoughts of my grandsons who are far away, and soothes my stressful days

My mother gave us this tape and we have played it nonstop - the songs are haunting, set to melodious music often in minor keys which contributes to the dreaminess (and repeated listenability) of this album. Judy Collins' voice sounds beautiful. My 2-year-old boy loves this recording too, and even my 4-month-old seems to "settle down" when hearing it. In fact we bought the corresponding video to see what it "looked like" visually. The tape is a must-have, the video very well-done too.

I bought this for my grandaughter . Her mommy has always loved Judy Collins music = so this was a natural choice!
My grandaughter has listened to it from age of newborn.
Her favorite song is "Dance Little Baby."

I find this music annoying. It does work for bedtime, but I find it very hard to listen too. There must be better lullaby music out there that soothes parent and child.
