4.0 out of 5 stars My18 month old son can count up to 9
I would absolutely recommend purchasing the entire set. The videos keep my son entertained for many hours. It's better than hearing him cry. He began watching videos when he was 1 month. Be patient. Infants have a short attention span. If you consistently show the videos everyday your child will learn before you even notice it.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit boring. There are much better number videos out there
This video is ok, but they have way too much time showing babies and kids playing around with foam numbers. I mean, get on with it already!!! They have lots and lots of counting from 1 to 10. At the end of the video they say that counting goes beyond 10 and the kids count from 1 to 20 one time. My favorite part was near the end when the screen was full of jelly beans...

This review is from: Baby's First Impressions: Numbers [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is ok, but they have way too much time showing babies and kids playing around with foam numbers. I mean, get on with it already!!! They have lots and lots of counting from 1 to 10. At the end of the video they say that counting goes beyond 10 and the kids count from 1 to 20 one time. My favorite part was near the end when the screen was full of jelly beans and the numbers are drawn among the jelly beans. This video is ok but, as I said at the beginning, there's just too much filler of kids playing. Brainy Baby 123's is bascially the very same video but improved upon a bit. They go beyond 10 and count things up to 20 and they still included the jelly beans on the table that I liked. I would recommend Brainy Baby 123's over this one. You do not need both because Brainy Baby has almost the exact same scenes as Baby's First Impressions but Brainy Baby also added a bit more animation and computer work. Please read my other reviews.

He has two other Numbers videos BABY MATH NUMERACY and BABY MATH SEQUENCING also available through amazon.com

My son began appreciating this video at 8 months old. The older kids count too fast for a young infant.

I have also written reviews for other FIRST IMPRESSIONS VIDEOS.
