5.0 out of 5 stars Best baby book out there, January 30, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Baby's First Year: A Mother's Journal (Hardcover)
I have 3 children, hence 3 baby books and it is hard to find a really good, well-organized baby book. This book is excellent because it not only has all the stuff you'd normally want in a baby book, i.e., Baby's Firsts, Memorable Moments; it also has these great pockets for things like hospital bracelets, cards and letters. It is simply very well organized and doesn't suffer from the corniness present in most baby books. It really makes you want to write in it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Shopping for 1st baby via internet whilst living in England, March 30, 2000

This review is from: Baby's First Year: A Mother's Journal (Hardcover)
I bought three baby books for my baby..."Baby Book" by William Wegman; a small photo album of baby's firsts, "Our Baby: A Journal" produced by Collins publishers; a book which allows me to journal my thoughts during my baby's first year, and then this book which is much more structured for recording my baby's firsts. The art on each page reminds me of floral stationary. It is very pretty...a bit on the cutsie side, hence, it is more appropriate for a girl. The book seems all inclusive of typical things that you would want to record and is well formated (it even has a table of contents). It has a place for articles from a newspaper on the day your baby was born. It includes feelings you had during pregnancy, how you met the baby's father, etc...I truly could not think of anything else which I wished they had included. It even has 5 folders to place loose tidbits in. I had not intended to buy three baby books but I was so pleased with these three and each served a different purpose that I went ahead and kept them all.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVED IT!, February 7, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Baby's First Year: A Mother's Journal (Hardcover)
As a mother of twins I wasn't sure about investing time on a book that would document frivolous details. However, I love Deb Mores' book! It is beautifully illustrated and is thorough without being overdone. There are pockets for every section and spaces allotted for photographs. It begins with a family history(including history on Mom, Dad & both Grandparents)and concludes with "favorite things" pages which are wonderful. Not only would I recommend it to friends but I am buying for all of my friends who become pregnant from here on out!
