This combination Baby Book and Keepsake Box is the perfect combination for your baby's memories. If you're the type of person that would not fill out those long baby books, or find yourself constantly stuffing loose papers and photos into a baby book, Baby's Record Keeper and Memory Box is the answer. The 48 page record keeper is attached to the top of the box. The pages that you fill in are not excessive as in most baby books. They are simple and straightforward. The pages mainly cover the first 12 months of baby's life. They also include the necessities like family tree and milestones. The design of the cover and each page is colorful, tasteful and perfect for either baby boy or girl. When closed, the entire thing looks like a beautiful thick hardcover book. The box which is like a hollowed out secret compartment in the back of the book is perfect to put in all those trinkets, mementos and other loose things that never fit into a conventional book. I bought this book when my second child was born, and I am going to buy another one to redo my first child's book.

This is a GREAT BABY BOOK!!! It has everything!!! A place for baby's name and origin, nicknames, news, birth announcement, a page about mommy and daddy, family photos, gifts that welcomed baby into the world, Visitors, Moms thought the day baby was born, Photos of baby (this is where I put the sonagrams because there a many pages for pics), Homecoming info., first room photos, how baby grew the first year, Milestones, A page including Sleep habits What baby can do Special notes and places for pics for each month 1-12 (this is great, I have alreay looked back and laughed at all her changes!), a page for moms thoughts for baby and a page for dads thoughts for baby, The last page is "Happy First Birthday" for pics. and where baby celebrated and baby's guest list. The back of this book is a memory box that has worked great for all the little things we want to save and the things we have written about in the book. Hope this helps!!!

I received this as a gift and I love it. It has more features than other Baby Record keepers I've seen. The Record keeper is like a box in which you can keep memories of your baby throughout their growing years plus pages for record keeping throughout the months your baby grows. It also includes pages for pictures, monthly updates, monthly measurements and weight, etc.

I bought this because of all the great reviews, but was disappointed. As another reviewer states, the questions are the same for each month. Answering how my baby's "sleep habits" are for 12 months just doesn't seem that interesting to me.
The book also only covers a year, which I didn't realize. Because I also got a calendar, the book is redundant.
The box on the back is a neat idea, but not enough to make the book worth it. I would rather purchase a separate box and keep the book, along with any keepsakes, inside.

I bought this book for my first child and loved it. It's perfect for the first year and so easy to keep up with. I've seen so many baby books that aren't filled out because there is too much book. This one is perfect. My first child has a baby book with every page filled. The keepsake box in the back is an added bonus. While you'll probably fill it quickly, it's incredibly handy. Now that I am pregnant with my second child, I am buying this book again.

Not impressed at all... sent it back, very cheap looking, cheap material. bought it as a gift but returned it and bought something else. great thought tho

I bought this record keeper for my second child. I also purchased a monthly calander. The calander is just as detailed as this book. Asking the same exact questions every month. I would suggest doing one or the other or looking for a different record keeper.
No tooth chart either...

An excellent way to organize and document baby's first year. I really like the hidden storage box for important items that do not fit on the pages.
This product falls short in two areas for me.
1) There is a page for "Mom's thoughts on the day you were born", but no such space allocated for Dad. Newsflash. It's 2006 and it's OK to include Dad in these sentimental recollections. If you are a single Mom you have a wonderful spare page. Publisher - you won't hurt anyone's feelings.
2) It would be nice to have photo placement capability on the cover. The hand drawn booties are cute (?) but they don't really look like our son.

Overall in a market flooded with overpriced junk for babies, this is a winner. Enjoy! (with an acid free pen).

I bought this book for my daughter and it was perfect! Just the right amount of space to record the milestones plus the box is fabulous for all those things you want to keep but don't know where to put them. I bought a second book for my son when he was born, too.

I received this book at my shower and I love it. It is basically a summary of baby's first year, month-by-month. The compartment in the back is good for storing all the little items you want to keep but would otherwise probably lose over time! My only complaint is that there aren't enough places for pictures. I'm one of those moms who always has a camera in hand and even though I have a separate photo album for my baby, I would still like to have more spaces to put pictures in her baby book. Overall it's a great book to have and record all of baby's "firsts" during her first year!
