My daughter loved the sound of the vacuum as an infant and in order to avoid burning out my vacuum I looked for white noise CDs. I was thrilled when I found this one. She is 18 months old and we still use it at every nap and bedtime. She finds it soothing and automatically knows its time to sleep. She also doesn't hear any noise we are making over the noise of her CD. I strongly recommend this product or anything similar to new parents.

I have a fussy newborn and the only thing that will calm him down is the sound of the vacuum cleanner. I found this CD and he absolutely loves it. It calms him down immediately. I recommend this CD to all new parents. It is a life saver!

We bought this CD before moving across country with our 2 month old daugther. She slept much better at hotels that we anticipated and she still sleeps with the sound of the CD even now (She is over 4 months). It's a great quality CD. It is not as loud as the vacuum cleaner which I think it's good- I can still hear her clearly if she cried.
Overall, a great product!

This works. I have given it to many people for shower gifts. It is one full hour of sound in one track on the CD. It is great!!!

I have tried other similar CDs that have 72 min of a vacuum sound and they (it) works as well, but the 72 min. are broken into 3 tracks each ~24 min. When one ends and the next starts there is a break in the sound and then a really loud start when the next track begins. This sometimes wakes baby back up once you get her to sleep. Woke me up the first time it happened!

So I like this one better since it is full hour in one track. Unfortunately it is often harder to find.

I was skeptical, but my baby loves the CD and mommy loves that we're not ruining our vacuum! I highly recommend this to any mommy that has a baby who loves the soothing sound of vacuums, who would have thought!? Brilliant!

I can't say how much my baby loves this cd! Considering I was in danger of burning my house down by leaving the vaccuum cleaner running or the blowdryer running while I put on makeup, took a shower, cooked supper or did the other million things that aren't a good idea while holding a baby, this was a life saver. Something about the monotonous sound of the vaccuum soothes my fussy baby like no other. I've gotten so used to the cd that the house feels to quiet when I turn it off. I haven't moved her to her own room yet but when I do, I am sure her cd will go with her. Awesome idea, whoever came up with this. The blissed out look on my baby's face when I turn it on is great!

This cd was a lifesaver for us with our colicy newborn. We were running the vacuum cleaner in his room nonstop because it was the only thing that would calm him down. This saved our vacuum (and our sanity)! It's not quite as effective as the vacuum (it took a little longer to calm him, but still only 10 or so seconds), but it's much easier.

It's also fantastic to keep in the car and saved us from many a cranky car ride.

Plus, you can turn down the volume as needed and you can even leave it on repeat on low for white noise. It does fade in when the cd starts and out as it ends, but our son didn't seem to wake up during that period.

Highly recommended!

We had been using our vacuum cleaner for a couple months to lull our baby to sleep. Sometimes she just wouldn't settle until we turned it on. We've replaced running the vacuum cleaner with this CD and it's had the exact same effect. Well worth the $12 or $13 we spent! Highly recommend to anyone whose baby is soothed by the vacuum cleaner.

Our 8 week old son started getting fussy every evening and we tried everything to calm him down. The vacuum cleaner was the only thing that would do the trick. In fear of ruining our dyson and being tired of having the vacuum in the living room I bought this cd. It is wonderful. We leave it in the stereo system and play it when he is fighting sleep and fussy. It puts him right to sleep every time. Then I can turn it off after about 2 minutes and he stays asleep. It has been a miracle. I also take it with me and play it in the car when needed and it calms him down. I would higher recommend this to any stressed out parent dealing with a fussy or colic baby.

I bought this cd because of all the good reviews, and the fact that the sound of a vacuum always soothes my son. However, he could care less about this cd...we have tried it over and over to get him used to it but it doesn't help soothe him at all. Maybe its because it doesn't sound like our home vacuum, but I'm really not sure why he doesn't like it.
