It gives us peace of mind and allows baby to sleep without us having to check for breathing.
We still occasionally forget to turn it off when we pick her up, but usually the ticking reminds us before we get too far away and the alarm sounds.
We've had one false alarm in the past when she worked her way to the edge of the crib out of the pad's range.
1) The picture is incorrect. The Babysense is now two round pads (seems smaller) and the monitor is also different.
