We got this potty trainer a while ago and it was a great investment! To me the extra $$ is well worth not having to wash out a poopy potty on a daily basis! I have looked at other trainers and they seem a lot flimsier than this one. It's extremely sturdy, very comfortable for the kids to sit on, and very portable if you have more than one bathroom. It's also very very easy to keep clean - all I have had to do once or twice was wipe it down with a bleach wipe and I was done! I think it also reinforces the idea that you go potty on/in the toilet. I haven't ever used a stand-alone or combo potty with my kid, so I can't really compare but it seems to make sense to me not to have to potty train twice! (once to the small potty and then again to the toilet) Speaking just from my own experience, my daughter loves to be just like her big girl friends and set her seat on the potty, put her step stool in front (we have the matching Safe Step stool) and then climb on herself. The bottom line is I think it makes life easier when you are doing potty training.

This product has made potty training much easier. My son has no problem putting the seat on by himself and climbing on with the help of a step stool. The splash guard on this is excellent! (I can't stress that enough!) No more pee on the floor!! I wish we had bought this one first. : ) It is a bit pricey but, well worth it!

We tried many cheaper potty seats (Graco, Fisher-Price, Cosco, Kids II) that were all unacceptable, so we finally decided to spend the money and get the Baby Bjorn seat. We are so glad we did! It is just the right size for our son, and it doesn't slip at all on the toilet seat. Our son feels very secure on it. We have travelled with it a lot, and it fits on every toilet we've tried. The splash guard is not as high as on some other seats, but I wouldn't want it to be, because it hurts if you accidently sit on one of the extra high splash guards (we know from experience). We just taught our son to "aim" down into the bowl, and we haven't had any problem with anything going onto the floor. And the best thing is that this seat is dishwasher-safe! We wash it once a week in the dishwasher. I know this sounds very unsanitary, but we have not caught any life-threatening diseases from it yet!

I have seen and tried other toilet trainers for our 2-1/2 year old and like no other more than the Baby Bjorn. It is snug fitting and secure. My daughter hopped right up there and did her thing without worrying a bit. Many rave about it fitting enlongated toilets, but it fits regular rounds as well! Not that any of us have children to maintain perfect decor (haha), but this toilet trainer actually is an attractive seat to boot. Easy to keep clean. Great product.

Before I had purchased this toilet trainer, I was using a cheaper seat for my son who is only in the beginning stages of toilet training. He didn't like the potty seats I had previously purchased, so I was using the removable seat from it on the toilet. Because we have elongated toilets, that seat slid all around on the toilet and was very unsafe. Once I put the Baby Bjorn seat on and adjusted it, wow! I could not believe how sturdy and secure it is. The built in splash guard is great for boys and my son has no trouble getting on and off himself using a step stool and he was proud of himself for being able to do so. I HIGHLY recommend this toilet trainer!

My 2 year old boy is very independent. He wants to do the whole potty routine without help. This potty seat helps him do that. After the intial fitting, the seat fits easily into place and comes off easily. My son is able to put the seat on and off by himself. The seat doesn't slip once it is on either. He feels safe in it and is very comfortable.

We originally tried a potty chair but found it doesn't work well for little boys with the too small seat and a little pee guard which was irritating. This seat was our answer to everything.

I found this to be the best potty we purchased. It has a high splash guard built in the front so that when my son pees, the pee goes down and not out. Also, it's long enough in the back that when he poos, we don't worry about him having enough room.

This is a great potty seat especially for a boy. The splash guard infront is designed well. The splash guard on Baby Bjorn seat does the trick without being too high. I tried the Elmo Soft Potty Seat but the splash guard was too high and it was difficult for my son to get over it and sit down without hitting his private part. The other great thing about the Baby Bjorn seat is that it's adjustable, very sturdy and it doesn't wiggle back and forth on the toilet. I highly recommend this toilet trainer seat!

I tried many potty chairs - and always found the ones that sit on top of the toilet (with the rubber pads underneath) not very sturdy. My son would wiggle and the seat would move and the "moment" would be gone. It was very difficult for him to feel safe on the seat. We bought this seat and immediately saw a big difference. He climbed right on and did his business without any "movement". We went out that very day and bought a second one for the other bathroom. I highly recommend this seat; especially if you have an elongated toilet seat. It attaches securely yet easy to remove for grown up use. The hanging loop is also very convenient!

This Baby Bjorn product, as is the case with every one of their products, is of the utmost quality. I have never used or bought a Baby Bjorn product that didn't live up to its reputation. This toilet trainer is particularly exceptional because it is easy to install and use. It also scores high marks for the fact that it requires little or no cleaning after each use. Once you have set it up, you will not need to fiddle with it. Your kids will enjoy using the "big seat" just like an adult, and they will also enjoy the fact that they will be able to do it all by themselves! Skip the traditional self-contained potties and get this one...you will not regret it.
