My son plays trumpet in his high school marching band. He's not the most delicate creature when it comes to handling his possessions. He announced last year that he was required to have this gizmo for holding the music on his trumpet. I was concerned because it looked like fragile plastic, assuming I would be replacing it every month or so. He used it through the heaviest performance season of last year and has begun this new school year with it still intact. I'm impressed! I would recommend this product and would make the same purchase again.

I got this for my son who plays trumpet in High School. He wanted a holder for sheet music. This works fine.

This item works great for my son who plays trumpet in high school. It replaces a lyre we purchased which clipped on the end of the trumpet. With a flip folder, the "old" one made the instrument unbalanced, and was uncomfortable and awkward when marching. This one is so much better; it sits closer to the center of the instrument, so that it is much more balanced. A good find!
