The Clarity of sound, the inmaculate power of the choir and the flawless strings of the orchestra, are signs of Herreweghe's work. This album is a really splendid set of Bach's Advent's Cantatas, rightfully played by the Collegium Vocale and the prestigious soloist, by the name of Sybilla Rubens or Christoph Pregardien. The BWV 62 is the highest point of all these works, and the interpretation just freezes and tears your heart apart...
