I downloaded this album and quickly became addicted to listening to it. This is another crowning jewel by the Choir of King's College.

Mr Willcocks is one of those " special " conductors for " Barock " music , and more so for Bach. He is still from the " Old guard " who apreciated Bach and Baroque , and knew how to play it . Contary to how this music is played today . Modern , or NEW , is not always better .But in our age everything has to be " efficient ", fast and cheap . Well that is Oke with : machines , robots, trains , airplanes, cars , and food ( fast food ) But that has nothing to do with music , and especially Barock music , and even more so with " Sacred " ( religious ) music. So that is where among others : Willcocks , Werner ,Rother ,come in , to name a few. Then people knew what is music . Music is above all about " feeling " ( mit gefuhl ! ,in german) , and harmony , so SLOW ! to get that " feeling " and really enjoy !
