I'm not going to debate over whose recording is best. What I do know is this: This is a beautiful, well thought-out recording that took years to make. And this thoughtfulness shows in every nuance of the production. It's truely a masterpiece, played by one of the masters.

Mstislav Rostropovich one of the greatest cellists ever. Love the sound and the passion: someone who loves music, JS Bach, his instrument more than himself. Brings me to tears every time I listen. This is true art and true artist.
