Excellent Music, October 19, 2009

Three C.D.'s covering some of the music written by Bach in the form of cantatas (church and secular - I can't tell the difference)while he was composing and playing between 1706 - 1723. He did this work in Arnstadt, Mulhausen and Weimar. Oddly the fact that Barabara Schlick sings soprano and Kai Wessel sings alto is not acknowledged on the Amazon website at the time of writing. This is very fine music if you like Bach. I do.
