Nobody does Bach better.,

This review is from: Bach: "Double" Concerto; Violin Concertos Nos. 1 & 2 (Audio CD)
You can't go wrong buying this recording.
This is a wonderfully lyrical interpretation that is true to baroque era sound, tempos, and dynamics. OK, it's just a little romanticized, but I think Bach would have thrilled to hear his masterpieces performed like this. The sound quality isn't quite up to current standards, but the playing is so beautiful it doesn't matter. These are among Bach's most melodic and emotional compositions. I have four recordings of these violin concertos, love them all, and never get tired of rehearing them.

This review is from: Bach: "Double" Concerto for Two Violins in D minor; Violin Concertos Nos. 1 & 2 [Expanded Edition] (MP3 Download)
Being a violin and Bach fan, I can state you cannot go wrong with any recording of Bach's music that is played by Izac Stern and or Itzhack Perlman two of the best violinist of our time. Great Album!!!!
