Bach's works are pure musical genuis. And Angela Hewitt is one of the best modern Bach performers. Her interpretations are free from drama and faithful to Bach's original composition. However, this title is available on iTunes for less than $20.

I must confess I still prefer Garilov's rendition of these works (with Mariner/St.Martin-i-t-Fields) but Hewitt evidently loves Bach and makes a few interesting points.

Angela Hewitt's Bach interpretations are rightly praised. Her touch and mastery of the music is amply evident on these discs. It's wonderful we have an artist today who can give such life to these masterworks. Brava!
