Great performances. The sound is very clear. My personal favorite is the partita for solo flute. Though much less well known than the solo cello, solo lute and solo violin works by Bach, this work shows much of the same qualities. Highly recommended

Rampal uses a modern flute in this recording but what I love most about this recording is the overall artistry and the fact that Pinnock's harpsichord is well captured. I'm still looking for a great recording on baroque flute though.
