Rescue Remedy contains a combination of 5 of the 38 essences, which include Rock Rose for courage and peace of mind, Star of Bethlehem, neutralized trauma of bad news, Impatiens, calms you when feeling impatient, irritable, frustrated or tense, Cherry Plum, restores balance when you are about to lose control and Clematis keeps you focused when you have difficulty concentrating. Rescue Remedy is effective in most situations that create stress or anxiety. When taken before a stressful situation, it can help you remain focused. If something unexpected happens to cause anxiety, Rescue Remedy can help you by producing a calming effect that can help you regain control. Can be used in children and pets, too. Directions: Rescue Remedy Essence: To relieve or prevent stress, put 4 drops in water and sip at intervals, or put 4 drops directly on the tongue. Alternatively add to 30ml mixing bottle containing still spring water and take 4 drops a minimum of 4 times a day. Ingredients: 5 x dilution of flower extracts of Rock Rose, Impatiens, Clematis, Star of Bethlehem, and Cherry Plum in a grape alcohol solution. Free from artificial additives and suitable for vegans

We used this with our cat, who hates to travel, as we drove across the country during a move. She was a mellow kitty and didn't freak out at all, which is completely unlike her. Normally, we have to give her tranquilizers. Nice not to have to drug her.

I bought this product for my stressed out cat. A few drops behind the ears and she calms right down. I have also tried the product myself (under the tongue method) and I have the same results. Considering the low cost, I would recommend for anyone to try it.

This stuff is 27% alcohol...which would be fine with me had it been mentioned, but I felt a little taken aback by it, as its not mentioned in any ads for the product, they advertise it as a great HERBAL remedy..no mention of the alcohol... no doubt it calms dogs down, but not for the reason it says.
Gave to my dog daily and saw a difference immediately, but after a week, it didn't seem to work anymore. I also gave it on the fourth of july to all 5 dogs with mixed results. The ones it did work on, only got sleepy, not calm. So if you want to knock your dog out, go for it, not a good remedy for genuine, daily anxiety
